The earth will never be the same again.
Rock, water, tree, iron share this grief
As distant stars participate in pain.
A candle snuffed, a falling star or leaf,
A dolphin death, O this particular loss
Is Heaven-mourned; for if no angel cried,
If this small one was tossed away as dross,
The very galaxies then would have lied.
How shall we sing our love's song now
In this strange land where all are born to die?
Each tree and leaf and star show how
The universe is part of this one cry,
That every life is noted and cherished,
And nothing loved is ever lost or perished.
I currently live in Charleston, South Carolina

Hi M~ :)
|Fred Schulz||RE: Woodward Grave Stone|
Great, I just added a profile photo. Everyone says I look just like my grandpa Woodward. Some other info you may already know. Fred and Viva had four daughters, youngest to oldest, Vivian, Marjorie, Carol, and Lois. They all were promoted to Glory in the following order, Carol, Lois, Marjorie and most recently Vivian. Cancer was the reason for all passing, including Grandma and Grandpa.
Fred Schulz, ( not only my grandpa's first name but my Father's first name as well)

It you don't mind would you transfer my ggrandfather's (19498488) memorial management to me.
Thanks for making this memorial.

Fred and Viva Woodward were my Grandmother and Grandfather. I am the son of Marjorie.
Just thought I would drop a note.

I have added a death certificate and a record of their marriage. You may want to move the headstone pictures to the top.

Strange because Yvette is the cousin of a cousin (if that makes sense). Not sure why she would say he came from Canada....??? All the information listed on the memorial is correct for Roy H. Kelley of our family, including the picture that I had posted, but not sure if it's all for the correct person now.

I see that you originally created this memorial and transferred it to Yvette. I was wondering if you would happen to know who to contact (other than Yvette) that may have info about Roy. I'm not 100% sure that this is my uncle and would like to find out for sure.

|Carol T.||RE: Re: Clara Woodward|
You are probably right about Clara's father being in rough shape & dying. Curious because her mother kept the remainder of her children together. Clara was adopted by James & Esther Bateham who had a farm on what is now Detroit Metro Airport. It worked out fine for Clara b.1870 because she married their son William Bateham b.1861 (Detroit policeman), was widowed & then married their grandson Charles Rowell b.1871 (Bill's sister Charlotte's son)!
