Hello All! I've had so much help from other contributors on this website during the process of documenting my family lineage/heritage. The most significant event: finding my maternal grandfather, which resulted in finding my mother as well as other (living) siblings I never knew I had. This all unfolded during January 2013. You all will never know how much this means to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

BIO update 3/2014: I've finally met all 5 siblings that I first learned about through this website, as well as FamilySearch.org and Ancestry.com. What a joy! My little brother and I now have family! Also: #7 and I relocated to Spokane WA, in order to be more centrally located to several of these family members. A new chapter and so much fun in store!

Bio update 11/3/2015: Sad news. I lost one of my new-found brothers in July 2015. We didn't have much time together, but what we had was filled with love. I was also diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May, so it's been quite the ride for the last few months. Chemo done & Surgery and radiation done on Jan 7 2016! I continue with my amateur efforts with heritage & genealogy. Learning a lot along the way and met a lot of great (and some not so great) people out there!

Update Sep 24 2023: Lost my oldest sister Rosemary Jean (Rucks) Dutton today. We had 10 years to make up for lost time as siblings, and I cherish every encounter. She was truly a special person. I will miss her so.

I am not related to the majority of my entries, but have added them with the hope that other researchers who have come to a dead end may be helped. With respect to those entries, I have no other information available as I have tried to include as much info as I have. Additionally, when possible, I update information in FamilySearch.org. Balancing the information between these two sites takes a good deal of time and effort.

In your communications with me, please be gentle. Remember, these memorials do not magically appear. Rather, I am a volunteer who has donated my time and considerable efforts willingly - to help those looking for a piece of themselves, a bit of history. I set up memorials as accurately as I can, research folks, visit cemeteries, and update the memorials with new or different information.

I am proud of my work, even when mistakes are made - and they are. I do not respond well to demands or demeaning messages telling me all the things I haven't done, all the things I have done wrong or that I am not meeting your standards. A simple word of thanks or appreciation goes so much further than a list of your complaints.

That being sad: Happy Hunting everyone!
