In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. I worked on the LYLE family tree and then started looking for the graves of my extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding. Now that I am retired, this is a great way to fill in those extra hours when I need something to do. I have found it to be very rewarding. |
I have to give credit to my brother, Tom 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Eberhardt, for allowing me to use a lot of their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials.

Sandy, Thanks so much for your help finding the correct cemetery for Thomas J. Biggers. Hope you and yours are doing well. I also enjoyed visiting your nice Memorials of your Lyle Great Grands at the same Cemetery. God Bless, Cindy.
Thanks for sharing the cemetery location where Sarrah Conner's parents were buried. Links are wonderful!! Kind regards, Nancy

I was doing a little bit of research and discovered that
Gerald Amon Upchurch
Find A Grave Memorial# 100169373
is the father of Lou Diamond Phillips. Just thought I would let you know. :)
|Martha Hallett||Andrew Mutzko|
His Birth date on the marker is wrong does not agree with his military registration card.
|Nancy Cornelius||Mathews at Friendship|
I see a memorial for a Unice Mathews, but did not see a stone. All the ones you asked for are in a family plot. There are some unmarked stones in ths cemetery.
|Nancy Cornelius||Alvin Hollin|
Afraid I needed to explain better. The spelling on his memorial reflects the name on his stone. I assume the last name is wrong on his stone. I did put his parents as an edit, but was not sure of the spelling of his last name; so you just need to edit his already memorial.
|Nancy Cornelius||RE: David Monroe and Victoria Holland|
His memorial is posted as Alvin Hollin like his marker
|Nancy Cornelius||David Monroe and Victoria Holland|
There are several spellings of this last name in this cemetery. Holland, Hollind, and Hollin. Monroe and Victoria I believe has a son buried next to them that has a name of Avlin Hollin.
|Brenda Taliaferro||Mahulda Kirkland|
You have excellent records for Huldy on your sight. I would like a picture of her grave and if her husband George Kirkland is buried there. Her siblings? Her children. One is named Ida Kirkland. Thank you for any help. Thanks for posting her.
