Interested in my ancestors, who are mostly located in North Carolina tobacco country, but willing to help out anyone asking for info in my area.|
Monuments are the grappling-irons that bind one generation to another. -- Joubert
Out of monuments, names, words, proverbs, traditions, private records and evidences, fragments of stories, passages of books, and the like, we do save and recover somewhat from the deluge of time. -- Francis Bacon

Thanks so much for the grave photo.

Thank you, but I am actually more interested in the image on the page which looks to be a picture of her, and then some biographic information. She is my Grandfather's Great Grandmother...and no one can seem to find out any information about her except that she is Sebies' mother by virtue of her marriage to Mr. Turner. None of us has been able to find her parents, siblings, anything at all! I was hoping that maybe the words around the image of her might give some insight into where she came from...it's like she just appeared from thin air and married my ggggrandfather!

Hi! I am wondering if you have any more information on EVWTurner...we have hit a dead end in our search for her ancestors. I see that the picture you posted has some information about her. Is there any way you could send me the rest of the info? I can only read a small portion from the picture as it is posted.

Thank you for visiting the Riverview Cemetery and adding the grave marker photo to the Sallie Carver page. She is my great-aunt and I have not had a chance to visit the cemetery since I found out where she and my great-uncle were buried.
With your permission, I would like to add the photo to my great-uncles' page as well. His name is Raymond Carver.
Thank you again. I appreciate your time and effort.

You are quite welcome. When I need a break, I like to spend a little time in a cemetery. Taking pictures is an added bonus. Apparently, my six grade was a lot longer ago than yours - I had one teacher who taught all subjects. :~}
