Bio Photo Someone was kind enough to add my daughter's grave on here before I even knew about this site.
Meaghan Olivia
A HUGE THANK YOU to those of you who stop by Meaghan's memorial and leave a token; from a momma who misses her more than words could ever express, it gets me teary eyed that you would take the time to do so. Blessings to you~

Just trying to pay it forward...

My grandmother passed away in September on her 90th birthday. If you would like to leave a flower

98% of the memorials I add come from pictures of the headstones taken at the cemeteries. It's the only way to get everyone without someone being missed and just about every cemetery I have been to there have been memorials that were overlooked (even in the small ones.) Some are very difficult to read so I put on as much info as I can make out in hopes that someone will come along with the missing pieces or corrections for what I entered. This site is made up of volunteers GIVING UP THEIR TIME to do this so there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO BE RUDE when contacting with corrections.

.."We do realize, however, that when transcribing a cemetery, it is not always possible to determine if the person is living or not. Please do not add pre-need memorials from (1931-present) to Find A Grave." Yes, I do add all markers if they are before the 1931 birth date and have no death date as more often than not they have passed away and the marker has not been updated. There are loved ones out there that may have been searching for that person which is the whole reason I do this.

Thank you to all of those who give of their time to add to this site!!

Mystery Solved? I believe your memorial of WBM very possibly is that of William B McAllister Sr. William was married to Margaret Pogue McAllister (52943467) who is buried in the same cemetery. Margaret had a son also named William B. McAllister (12192652) born in 1825. William B. McAllister Sr. was born 10 July 1797 in Antrim, Ireland, and died 01 October 1830 in Anderson, South Carolina. William B. McAllister passed many years (1830) before his wife Margaret Pogue Todd McAllister who passed 09 January 1883. I do believe if the marker states WBM it is very possible it is that of William. Geography, time, and names certainly would point in that direction.

Sincerely, Russ Norris 46926389

Benjamin Duckworth
Thank you for your hard work. I believe that the Benjamin Duckworth that on the marker at Hopewell is the son of Jacob Duckworth Jr. not the Jacob Sr.

Jacob Sr. died in NC before 1800 so he could not be the father of any of these children. This is a gross error that keeps perpetuating itself. Thank you again for your good work. I have a dog in this fight and hope to get the error corrected before I checkout.

The Jacob that has a marker at Hopewell is really the father of this Benjamin. Jacob Jr. had brother Benjamin that went to MS with his large family about 1820.
