Amos Beemer's tombstone
Paul- Thank you so much for moving the photo of Amos Beemer from Newtown Cemetery to Newton Cemetery. Whew! That is a relief . I will delete his entry on the wrong cemetery site. Many, many thanks.

Amos Beemer tombstone photo
Can you forward the photo of Amos Beemer from Newtown Cemetery to Newton Cemetery, Newton Center, Lackawanna Co., PA. I had 3 entries in the wrong cemetery, they are all on this one stone. I will not delete Amos Beemer entry in Newtown Cem., until I see whether you can transfer the photo to the new entry. Sorry for the mix-up!

William and Ethel FINNEY - correction
Hi Paul,

Sorry to confuse you. I meant to say "Brookside" Cemetery in Lackawanna County, PA. Coalbrook was the colliery where my grandfather worked.

Thank you so much for the photos of my grandparents' tombstone in Coalbrook Cemetery in Lackawanna County, PA. I looked at the memorial today for the first time since you posted them. They are very special to me and I really appreciate your effort.

RE: Shoemaker Cemetery
Good morning Paul!

I was surprised to see that Polly Browning Wall's grave stone does not have a burial date, only when she was born. Thought that strange that the stone wasn't updated at death.

Perhaps Polly is not buried there since there does not appear to be a grave for her husband, Lorenzo Wall. It seems likely that they changed their minds for some reason and are buried elsewhere. (I would be surprised however, that her stone was erected prior to her death.)

What keeps genealogy so interesting is trying to figure out these oddities!

Thanks again Paul.

Respectfully,

Larry Lundeen
