What is the final thought

What does it mean? Regrets? Lost love?
Something else totally?

Okay. We're not that Rosebud,

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE VISITED MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. ESPECIALLY THOSE LEAVING KIND WORDS AND A REMEMBRANCE FOR THEM. YOU ARE DEEPLY APPRECIATED!

This is one of my favorite poems
with relevance to passing from this life...

And Death Shall Have No Dominion
BY DYLAN THOMAS

And death shall have no dominion.
Dead men naked they shall be one
With the man in the wind and the west moon;
When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone,
They shall have stars at elbow and foot;
Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion.

And death shall have no dominion.
Under the windings of the sea
They lying long shall not die windily;
Twisting on racks when sinews give way,
Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break;
Faith in their hands shall snap in two,
And the unicorn evils run them through;
Split all ends up they shan't crack;
And death shall have no dominion.

And death shall have no dominion.
No more may gulls cry at their ears
Or waves break loud on the seashores;
Where blew a flower may a flower no more
Lift its head to the blows of the rain;
Though they be mad and dead as nails,
Heads of the characters hammer through daisies;
Break in the sun till the sun breaks down,
And death shall have no dominion.

Larry and Severena Nerim (Highland Cemetery)
Hello Ken,

I have transferred Larry and Severena Narim per your request. I saw your previous request for it but I didn’t have time to do it when I transferred Ira to you.

It is a pain when you server crashed. I had too many e-mails on it and it went down. I tried to retrieve them but I couldn’t.

Thank you for your concern on my well being. I am doing fine. I just took some time off from working on this site and of course everyday life keeps me from being on it.

You are very welcome. I am glad the memorials that I make are being claimed by family. I am always happy to transfer them to them when I am asked.

Thelma Whitcomb
Ken,

Unfortunately, I never got to spend much time Grandpa Bob or Thelma, but did receive birthday cards and calls on occasion up through my teen years. Grandpa Bob passed away in the mid 1970s, and we never lived in the Denver area.

We Walker kids always wanted to get to know her, but distance was a problem and, by the time we were adults, she had married and her hands were full with the Whitcomb family. I understand she was a kind and sweet lady.

Oh, time gets away :(

Thank you for sharing about Thelma. I would certainly like to know more.

My email is blacknewport65_at_hotmail_dot_com if there is any family information you find interesting.

VR,
David

RE: Ira Nerim 60081001
Hello Ken,

Sorry for the very late reply on your requests. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very, very long time.

08/24/14: Ira Nerim 60081001
4rd request for transfer including private emails - Please transfer this memorial to me as this (60081001) is my grandfather's grave. Thanks, RoseBud #48448869

Note: My e-mail server crashed so I lost a lot of e-mails….

06/16/14: Ira Nerim 60081001
Hi Michael, I am Ira's oldest grandchild, Ken. Thank you for creating this memorial for him, it means a lot. I would like you to turn the management of this memorial over to me so I can add an accurate bio for him. Also, could you upload the grave marker photo you mentioned? Thanks again, Ken N. 48448869

I wanted to follow up with you on your request. I am sure by now you already know but I wanted to respond to you. It looks like you Ira has already been transferred to you and a photo of his gravestone has been added.

Michael….

RE: Edward Cox
Rose,
So, I followed up at Woodlawn today. I walked the entire child's section but did not find any Cox(es) there. Also, I located the plot with Herbert, Ada, Anna, John and Emma but there were no children buried there either. Once again, there was a grave space open with no marker so it is possible that if any of them had children that did not survive more than a few years that child may be buried in the unmarked grave.

I also did a little more research on your previous message eand I did locate a death record for Ada Cox from 1927. There were several records for children with the name Cox, however, no records for twins or for a child born of Herbert and Ada. Additionally, I believe Edwin Cox, the brother of Herbert, and his wife Hilda may be buried in Druid Ridge Cemetery in Sykesville, Baltimore County. This cemetery is a little further up the road and I have been there to fulfill open grave requests (as well as find some for my own research). At some point before the end of the year I hope to revisit Druid Ridge to fulfill additional open requests.

RE: Charles A. and Mary E. Cox
Rosebud,
You are more than welcome for all of the photos and I genuinely appreciate your kind words of thanks. The Cox memorials were all together in the same plot, side by side by side. There was an empty plot between two of them, however, off the top of my head I cannot remember which two it was between. There is also a section devoted to children only. If you let me know who you are looking for I will be more than happy on my next visit to see if I can find a marker for the person/child you are looking for. I truly enjoy assisting other members find their missing "pieces" and am glad that I was able to help.
Best Regards,
KDorsey
