You took a photo of Maxine Kulbeth's tombstone and placed it on her 2nd husband's memorial, William R "Mac" McDonald, Find A Grave # 30025686. (Kulbeth was her 1st husband) I made a memorial for her. Can you please transfer that photo onto her memorial? Thank you for your help in documenting a member of my family. Dorene Kulbeth Loveall

Aldridge Family Cemetery, Estill, Washington Co, MS.
I previously sent a message to Jean Millican Millen (#46947625) who had posted pictures of the Aldridge Cemetery in Lombardy, Sunflower Co, MS. I was asking about a memorial, created without a picture, for John Adams Aldridge (#75104805), maternal grandson of John Adams (1865-1918) [#22642619], whose memorial you created. The obituary of John Adams Aldridge said: "Burial will be at the Aldridge family cemetery in Estill, Miss." Do you know whether there is another Aldridge Family Cemetery, an hour south of Lombardy, in Estill, Washington County? I am researching the John Adams family of Greenville, MS, and found obituaries of his daughter, Marguerite Adams Aldridge (1897-1992) and her husband, Robert N Aldridge (1890-1960) saying they were buried in the Aldridge Family Cemetery in Estill. FindAGrave member (M G Slade #47169935) created the memorial for their son, John Adams Aldridge (1928-2011) as being buried in the Aldridge Cemetery in Lombardy, not Estill. If we can confirm an Aldridge Family Cemetery in Estill, perhaps we should add it to FindAGrave. Do you live close enough to the Greenville, MS, area to check this out? Or do you know someone who can?

Garner Families of Montgomery County, Mississippi
I wonder if you could tell me if your John W. Garner was some how related to Daniel & Irons Garner. I'm seeking info. about these families. Daniel married Celia Heslep, Apr. 20, 1797 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Daniel was born abt. 1777 died Feb. 14, 1860 in Carroll County, Mississippi. Celia was born June 10, 1780 in North Carolina. She died aft. 1850, probably in Carroll County, Miss. They had four known children; Mary Nettles Garner, Celia Garner, Lawson Garner, and Irons Garner. One of Irons Garner sons was William Wallace Garner.

Portia, thank you so much for posting Mary Hulda Hawkins on Find A Grave (# 33311894).She is my great great grandmother. I have been searching for her for a long time.
I was not raised in Mississippi and knew very little of my family from there.
Thank you! Thank you! Charlotte

John Lancaster
Hi. I added his headstone today. While I was out there I also took a pic of Elizabeth Lancaster. I wish I could have gotten the dates but it is over half way buried in the ground.

I strongly believe she was the daughter of the senior Albert Louis Pentecost #35795662 &
Nettie Lee Travis Pentecost #35795586 as she indicated on the 1910 census that she had had two children with only one living (Albert Louis Pentecost, jr plus the fact his tombstone matches hers. But I have no proof. I don't know what B & D records exist in Sunflower County, MS for that time period. I know the state hadn't started keeping death records yet. Are they all buried in the same plot?

Here is his wife: 106936817 RE your note I believe he's buried next to her. I took a 2nd look at site & there is a space but no stone. If you have info on him I will add to a list I'm compiling so that I can check against IOOF burial list. It has been tied up w/volunteers from new cem assoc trying to computerize for almost 2 yrs. I can't help as they don't want the books taken out of office & I could only do working from my home - anyway, will put him & any detail you might have on a 'look see' basis - but I believe we're safe to assume he is in IOOF Gwood.
