Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching and recording my family history since Summer 2012, following the death of my grandma and finding various family records with various names and dates that I wanted to start keeping a record of, at least the most basic information: Names, dates of birth/death, bar mitzvah dates even (I had found a couple of my uncles' bar mitzvah photo albums at her place), and so forth. My research ballooned and--as of my writing this up a little more than a year later--I've got 35 full pages of information written up. The catalyst for this project was a sad event, but "finding" my family has been an awesome experience!

Elijah Horn
Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to try and locate Elijah's headstone. It was the synagogue that originally told me Elijah was buried there, when I was looking for the Nathan Horn family. It was not clear from the response to my inquiry if there was a headstone, so I put in a request at Find A Grave to find out. Elihu would have been a grandson of Elijah.

RE: The Weinbergs at Ohev Sholom in DC
Why, thank you so VERY much!! I had begun to think that I might never see these. Tillie and Ellis are my husband's grandparents, and Gerald is his uncle. From what I had been told, this was not an easy cemetery to gain access to.

Only one request! Would you please upload the photos of the individual stones again after you have rotated them? (I don't think I need high resolution copies.)

Thanks again!

RE: Makovers at Adas Israel Cemetery in DC
Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to fill the photo request. Stella and Estelle may be the same person; let me double-check with my-father-in-law, and I will get back to you.

Thanks,
Jennifer

RE: Pfc. Jacob Abel in Washington, DC
Hi David, Thanks for the great photo! I've link his father as well. Also, if you can link Jacob as the father of Martin who you found that would be great. :-) Jacob is also on the below webpage.

Thanks my friend,
