I am 78 years old and working part-time as a bookeeper. I have been doing genealogy research on my husband's ancestors for over 10 years. We made several genealogy research trips and I've walked many cemeteries taking photos. They can all be found on my website. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mcapehart/index.html. I have created memorials and uploaded photos of all the cemeteries I have visited to FindaGrave. Now that I can no longer travel I have to depend on other people to take photos for me. Many thanks to everyone for your help!|
For the past four years I have been doing photo projects in local cemeteries and have been a FindaGrave volunteer for over a year. I have a severe hearing impairment and am considered legally deaf and this is something I can do which doesn't involve communicating with people. I take shears and a whisk broom with me and trim around monuments to enable me to get the best possible photo. I record all information available to me on FindaGrave. I aways welcome corrections and updates. I will respond to them as quickly as possible and will let you know when a correction has been made or additional information has been added. I also notify creaters of memorial pages when I have additional information or a correction. I believe it takes all of us working together to make FindaGrave an effective tool for people researching their families.

Thank you so much. I am going to try and contact the funeral home here and see if they know anything. I will try to find an answer for you but make no promises. Alice

I took the photo of Tommy's parents headstone and have looked around the cemetery for a headstone for Tommy but have found none. I see he was cremated and I thought possibly he was buried with his parents but there is nothing on their stone to indicate that. There are empty spaces beside his parents but again no markers. Do you know if he was buried with a headstone and where in the cemetery his grave is. Sorry I have more questions than answers. Alice

I went by the stone. She was alive when the stone was done so I think the stone is right. Thank you for letting me know. I never met her, but I did know all of her sons. Thurman is married to my 2nd husband's sister, they went to school together.
