|Bio and Links|
Those who do not look upon themselves as a link, connecting the past with the future, do not perform their duty to the world. - Daniel Webster|
Our individual grandmothers introduced us to our family history in 1949 when we were very young. The tales of the adventurers, frontiermen, Minnesota Scots fur traders, French trappers and the American Native Chiefs in our familiy fired our young imaginations like nothing else. Now that we are retired we can devote more of our time to this fascinating hobby, and learning more about "the frontier" in Minnesota, the Dakotas, and the Wyoming plains. Also pursuing in Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts and our country's early history environs.
Since retirement we have become the family historians and enjoy genealogy and the subsequent history enormously ever since. Our personal interest resides specifically with these surnames: Paternal lines: Alden, Bartlett, Blackburn, Church, Cissell, Clark, Folsom, Greene, Hayden, Jewel, Lessert, Osgood, Payne, Thompson. Maternal lines: Anderson, Aisquith, Ayrd, Blanford, Bear, Brown, Campbell, Carli, Carrico, Chatillon, Crawford, Curtsinger, Frenier, Grey Cloud, Hagen, Hayden, Langworth, LeClair, Patrick, Pidgeon, Pugh, Renshaw, Renville, Robertson, Roy, Thompson, Toon Valandry, Wabasha.
Any information at all that you might provide along these lines is valued. Blessings!
