To change information click on the "EDIT" tab at the top right of the memorial. If I reject an edit, please contact me should you need to know the reason (usually it's a date typo that doesn't make sense, or a duplicate request). No "proof" necessary - most people do their homework, and I'm good with that.

PLEASE DO NOT ADD ANY PHOTOS YOU DID NOT TAKE or add photographs of obituaries.

DUPLICATES happen. Let me know in the "other comments" section of the "Suggest a Correction" section and include the number of the original memorial in the event that it is one that has been transferred to me. FAG has to delete transferred memorials that are duplicates, and needs that original number.

Please be as specific as you can in stating relationships. My decision, on a case-by-case basis. I DO transfer out of FAG Guideline. Most people request memorials for the right reasons: they know and care about the person they're requesting. I generally transfer those who are not my family or close friends. Too many do NOT have someone with a personal connection.

OBITUARY: please credit the source, name of paper or mortuary, and date. I omit survivors' names (if it is a recent obit - within the last few years)outside of spouse, partner, or parent if I don't have express permission to include them.

MY PHOTOS - OK to use. I would like to know if family photos are being used so I can be sure they're going the right place. I've found a few that have been incorrectly assigned.

I photograph and update cemeteries in Pottawatomie and Riley Counties, Kansas, when I'm not employed as a full-time substitute teacher. I am a member of the Riley County Genealogical Society.

My grave interests come from parents who love history and writing, and frequently told us stories about past (passed) people in our lives. As a preacher's kid I played in cemeteries a lot growing up, and I guess I haven't stopped.

Bitikofers in Loucks photo
I thought the baby might be Paul also, based on the apparent age of Irma Abbiehl. But I think Paul, Stella, and Melvin were only 1 year apart each, and that doesn't seem to match the other kids.

Fred Bitikofer
I was given a photo to scan (for the historical society of Bremen, Indiana) of The Loucks family that includes Fred Bitikofer. I think it may include Martha and a couple of their children. I wonder if you can confirm?

RE: Eliphalet Patee
Hi, GeekyGraveGirl! Thanks for incorporating the information on Eliphalet into his FG memorial. I've read over his bio, and I have a few suggestions:

Clarence and Henry were Maria Marenda's children, not Cynthia's.

Eliphalet married Margaret on 1 Jan 1884 (if you wish to add that.) It was Eliphalet and Margaret who had Eliphalet Jr., not William Fazon and Margaret.

It is quite a history, isn't it? Are you a Patee relative? My interests are historical and centered in Lawrence, Kansas, where we have another line of Patees that I'm looking to connect into this one.

All the best--JJ

RE: Transferred....
Yes I want her, Reubie is Abi McGrew's sister.
What about Robert W. McGrew (Delilah's husband)?
I did not see an email that you transferred him?

Emil and Martha Peterson
Emil and Martha Peterson were my Great uncle and aunt (parents of my cousin, Edla Peterson Burch Dalton). I would greatly appreciate it if you would transfer ownership of their memorial to me. I've done considerable research on this branch of my ancestry, and would be happy to share information.
Thanks for all your assistance with find-a-grave.

RE: Fairbanks' edits
My wife is a Fairbanks (and a member of the Fairbanks family of America). If you would like to transfer any Fairbanks to me (us) you are welcome to do so, however we don't claim any real ownership with any findagrave entries and are happy to have the entries made, regardless of who makes and/or maintains them.

Thanks for asking,
Earl & Cynthia (Fairbanks) Munday
