Bio

My parents grew up in Butte. My father served 22 years in the Airforce and retired in Florida, pledging to never be cold again. To this day, I live in Orlando.
I started researching family history when my son was deployed to Iraq during the initial "war". It was a good hobby to choose, and it kept my mind off of daily fears for his life and well-being. It also lent for more interesting letters between us.
My son has since safely returned home and is the father of three amazing children.
The thing I love most about genealogy, is the stories of the many people with whom I'm connected to. Sometimes these stories are in biography form, and sometimes they emerge as if from the ash
es; revealed by dates and locations of births and deaths, occupations, siblings, current events and wars of their time, ship's logs, census, etc.
Find a Grave offers a format to immortalize the wonderful, striving people who came before me. As I add new records, I hope that these remembrances will be forever, and available free for posterity.
