Bio Photo My Daddy took this picture and named it "Home made hair cut". My brother, who was 2 years older than me, had just given me the new hair style. When Daddy asked me what happened I told him but I also assured him that I said "Thank you" when my brother had finished.

I do research on several family names: Pack, Preston, Wheeler, Ward, Scott, Smith, also on my husband's side: Clemmons, Edrington, Kessler, Marshall, Heilman, Duvall, Stickley.

Margaret Bush Jacson
You have a narrative for Margaret Bush and say that her father was christened in 1590. How could that be if she was born about 1753?

RE: Nola Lemaster Preston
Glad that you responded so quickly. I am very excited that we might get to share information about our common heritage. I am on and will add your email as a guest to my page. Plus I manage a closed Facebook page called Preston Family Stories. Just send a request and I'll gladly add you. I actually lived at the homeplace at Williamsport until I married. My sister inherited it after Mom passed away. Sadly it burned down earlier this year. I believe there were actually 5 generations of Prestons and descendants who lived there through the years after G.L. and Julina built the house after the property was given to them by her father. Before I forget, here is a copy of Nola's obituary....

Mrs. L. T Preston Dies Sun., May 5 Mother of 10, Victim of Short Illness

Mrs. Nola Lemaster Preston, 49, died in her home in Williamsport at 3 A.M. May 5, after a short illness.

Mrs. Preston was the wife of Rev. L T Preston. She was born on November 21, 1896 at Fuget, the daughter of R. M. and Lydia McKenzie Lemaster.

She had been a member of the United Baptist Church at Concord since 1920.

Surviving besides her husband are nine children, Cecil, Rosco and Wayne, city, Richard, Ypsilanti, Mi, Ray, Hager Hill. Mrs. Hammie Price, Williamsport, Helen, Guy and Floretta at home. Another daughter, Julia Lee, preceded her in death on October 1936. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Lydia Clark, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred McClure, Thealka and Mrs. A. L. Brooks, Paintsville.

Funeral services were held at the Meade Memorial High School on May 7, by Rev. Foster Rigsby. Burial was made in the family cemetery at Williamsport, under the direction of Jones Funeral Home. .

Bush Cemetery
There is a photo request for Bush Cemetery in Clark County, KY. I would be happy to fulfill it as well as photograph the other graves that have not yet been taken. I saw you previously added a few. Do you have an address or directions as to how to get there? Thank you!

Ballard's @ Grove Hill Cemetery
Linda, you said there were several Ballard's with Thomas J Ballard's tombstone. If I request them you said you would post them. Could you give me a list of name, cause I don't know if he had a spouse or children. Then I can do photo request for you. Thanks for the information and letting me know there were more available.
