You meet all kinds of people on Findagrave... most of whom are helpful and co-operative. Just spending a few minutes a day on Findgrave can provide a great deal of genealogical input. Thank you for your co-operation! If I can assist anyone, please contact me.
My father, David Kennedy, was an avid genealogical researcher, so you could say, this was one of my inherited interests. He started his search in 1959 after meeting then Senator John F. Kennedy in Washington, DC. He asked my father if we were Catholic or Protestant Kennedys, after which Senator Kennedy suggested that since we were not Catholic, we must have entered the US via Northern Ireland. And the search continues...
Some of my direct lines are Kennedy, Clayton, Merritt, Head, Prothro, Crouch, Wright, Goodwin, Bledsoe, Breazeale, Smith, Guyton, Moorhead, Kirksey, Wyatt, Griffin, Richardson, Meyer, Johnston, Lott, Knox, Gaston, Barnett, Ray, Sharp, Alverson. I have been working on my genealogy since the 1990s. I always try to give credit to those who have done genealogical research ... just a very common courtesy.... Thanks y'all.

Fran ~ if I have realized that the person that was taking care of my Dad's memorial has passed away can you tell me how I can take care of that memorial now? Thanks

How about this. Put them together as one photo????
|Rita Osborne||RE: Memorial# 106762647|
No reason to delete the card. I thought about posting the WWII draft registration card as it does show his middle name. I just didn't want to use all of the spaces up in case someone wants to post photos.

Found his middle name on his WWII Draft Registration card.

Thank you for the document addition. As you suggested, I did change the order. Then entry for this gentleman is certainly quite complete.
Thank you again for your help.

You are VERY welcome!
|Tracy S. Miller||RE: Question about Mary Miller Crouch|
Excellent. Thank you so much. You helped me solve a mystery. Previously we wondered why she was included in the 1850 census in Joshua Miller's (her grandfather) household, even though Dolly Miller (her grandmother) would have clearly been too old to have a child. Turns out Mary Miller was the daughter of Joseph R. Miller, son of Joshua, who we think must have died between Mary's conception and 1850, along with Mary's mother, since we can't find any trace of Joseph R. or Mary's mother 1850 onward.
|Tracy S. Miller||Question about Mary Miller Crouch|
Thank you all your hard work doing ancestry research! I have a question about Mary Miller Crouch, #81585614. Her father is listed as Joseph Miller. Where did this information come from?
If this information is true, she is probably the daughter of Joseph R. Miller (born between 1814-1818) who was the third child of Joshua Miller (1790-1851), my 3rd g-grandfather. We Miller descendants have been trying hard to piece together information about Joshua's family, and we have very little information about Joshua's son Joseph R. Miller.
Thank you for any information you may have about Joseph Miller.
