| Bio and Links | Hi I have been finding my ancestors since 1987. Whenever we travel we have always been interested in the cemeteries, especially the ones that have our relatives.
Thanks to the contributors on this website I have found information on relatives in areas I have not traveled and may never get the chance to see.
At the moment I am taking pictures in three cemeteries. Riverton Crest Tahoma & Woodbine. I check for duplicates, but miss a few. Please let me know so I can remove any duplicates I make. Same goes for errors. If you are a family member or friend and would like me to transfer a memorial to you, please send me: your number, the person and their memorial number. Please send the information through the edit tab on the memorial. If you just want me to change or add information. Please send the name of the person, their memorial number and the data I will need to correct or add. I do reserve the right to keep any memorials I wish. | |

 | RE: Question When you do so make sure you include links to both the memorials and the correct cemetery. They WILL just delete any request they get that does not contain the links. Good Luck! Waiting is the hardest part! | | | ChuckNorris
 | RE: Question Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. It sounds like the memorial manager is inactive. I would think most people would answer back if they thought you were wrong about the cemetery. When you contacted the memorial manager did you leave a message on her profile or did you send it via the edit tab on the memorial? Some people do not do corrections that are not sent via the edit tab. The standard procedure for such a instance is to 1. send a message via the edit tab being sure to check the little box that says to send you a copy also. 2. wait 30 days. 3. If the fix does not happen forward the copy to the edit @ findagrave.com email address and explain the situation. You MUST include a link to the correct cemetery as they will not look it up for you. Also put something in the subject line like unresponsive contributor. The other thing is not to be to lengthy with your explanation. Just simple and straightforward. 4. Wait, and wait, and wait some more. Corrections DO get done but it can take months. | | | KGallagher
 | Thank you The photo looks great! | | | ChuckNorris
 | RE: Question So both cemeteries are real and need to stay on the site. What needs to happen is memorials need to be shuffled/moved to the correct places? Does the contributor who has them listed wrong still seem active? Have they responded to you in any way or have you got complete silence? | | | ChuckNorris
 | RE: Question I just want to clarify some things to make sure I totally understand the situation. It sounds like there are two cemeteries listed on findagrave. Cemetery A is correct and Cemetery B is maybe a incorrect duplicate that this other person made? This person has put some memorials in cemetery B that you believe belong in Cemetery A? Are the memorials that are listed in Cemetery B also already in Cemetery A? | | | ChuckNorris
 | RE: Freeda L. Felber Thank you. Yes the FAQ/rules do get changed from time to time and they can be hard to keep up with. Thank you for your help in getting rid of the duplicate. Take care | | | ChuckNorris
 | RE: Freeda L. Felber Though the memorial may have been first it was in the wrong cemetery. Hence yours in considered the duplicate. Changing it to the correct cemetery is considered bad behavior on Findagrave. Admins have stated that the memorial in the correct cemetery has precedence. | | | moultrie/travers
 | RE: Sherry Hi Helen, I have not been doing any searching for some time. Please feel free to call or write any time. Sherry | | | | [View all messages...] |
