I have been into genealogy and walking cemeteries since 2006. One side of my family comes from southern Iowa/Northern Missouri (Wayne County and Mercer County) via Pennsylvania (Hempfield, West Moorland). The other side from Norway to Bode in Humboldt County, Iowa. Those Norwegians are hard to figure out! I also have roots in Greene County and scattered around the state. I would be happy to go to any cemeteries in central Iowa when time permits, just let me know where and who I am looking for and I will get there as soon as I can. I am also willing to look up information needed on a person at the local libraries when I go. I keep a list of requests and will be happy to add more. |
If I have added a memorial for your family and that person is not in mine, I am willing to transfer.

|Jim Krahulec||RE: John Stark|
Just got confirmation that John Stark is indeed buried in Belmond Cemetery. One of my classmates called his widow in North Dakota. His widows parents are buried in Belmond. It is a family plot, so that may be why John does not show up on the cemetery records. His widows maiden name is Boller. I see three Bollers in Belmond in FindAGrave, but no plot numbers are listed.
Hope this helps,

Another Picture in the summer won't be necessary the one you took is beautiful with the snow on the ground.
I made the necessary edits for their Names and Dates and linked them together.
I did notice that there were two other Conlon's (Lenore and Milford) in Evergreen Cemetery. They must be related but I haven't found them yet in my research.

Thank you so much. Your dedication to connecting our loved ones is greatly appreciated by all.
If there weren't people like you, our loved ones would be lost in history forever to all that want to honor them. So Thanks again

Thank you so much for the headstone photo for Archie and Nora Foust. I appreciate you time and effort.
Thank you so much for fulfilling my request and so quickly. I have been working on family genealogy and it is so nice when a grave photo is available to verify information with the obituary and other information.
I did not expect to see my request fulfilled before next spring, let alone within days of the request. You are a gem!
