Always glad to lend a hand!
|Betsy Ramsay||Moses Martz|
Hi Mary, Thank you for the article on Moses Martz. There are many for the Martz family as they were very active in their community. Are you also a descendant?
|Joe Nihen||Sparks, David and James|
OK! We have live ones!
i will fix her link, but that original linking came from you.
Sometimes with the similar names parents can get mixed up with a child. I have many sr. Jrs, and then III in one line alone.
|Kathleen Clemence||Nicholas and Peter Kline|
Have made the updates you requested and would really appreciate sharing with you as Nicholas is one of my husband's great-grandfathers (Beatrice was his grandmother). Haven't had much of a chance to get back to Delmont to do as much research as I would like so anything more that we could learn would be great. You can reach me direct at email@example.com if you would be willing to share. Thanks!
I added the lines to connect the Sparks brothers.

You have the birth and death locations reversed on this memorial.
|Carole Saylor||Belle Brumbaugh Lloyd|
You've got all of us curious about Belle, since she's linked in both her obituary and Daniel Martin Brumbaugh's obituary to our family.
Daniel was my husband's grandfather. His mother, aunts and uncles are listed as "step-siblings" in Belle's obituary. All of that generation have passed on, so we've been asking the oldest cousins if anyone had ever heard of her. So far, no one has.
She was born in 1894, and that's the same year Daniel Martin Brumbaugh married Elizabeth Guthridge. It's also the same year his first son, Elvin was born. This seems quite scandalous if he indeed had a child with Eliza Lear the same year. Do you have a birth certificate or anything that can confirm this? Still, she is listed as a daughter in Daniel's obituary, which I have an actual newspaper clipping of.
Please let me know if you can.

If you receive a SAC from someone for Mary Clapper (w/o Adolphus) with a list of 17 children, please read my updated entry for Adolphus first. There were only eight children - nine of the 'children' on the SAC sent to me were actually grandchildren.
Also, Mary died in 1915, not 1914 - note the burial date at the bottom of the death certificate. I sent you an auto edit on that one, and have sent you a regular edit with the obit.
(I also moved Adolphus to the Canoe Creek cemetery - the info I had listing him at Geeseytown was obviously incorrect).
