|Bio and Links|
|I live in Shippensburg, PA (south-central PA). Interest in surnames: Fritz, Mackey, Baker, Bard, Weaver, Ocker, and many others. I am looking for old family photos for the above families, especially, the Weavers I have records for. I love old photos and would like to hear from you. Please use my photos, but please be polite and ask permission first, and please cite Find A Grave as the source (let's get as many people involved as possible). It's not a matter of what is legal; it's a matter of what is polite. And please use my obituaries too. I have spent a lot of time taking photos, and finding obituaries, so I would like to be given credit for my work. |
I believe transfers should be done to family regardless of the four generation "guideline"...family should be with family; first come first serve. Why let a record sit when someone can enhance it? I don't understand why someone would hold on to a record if they have no family ties. I prefer to keep my memorials in the Shoemaker Cemetery and Smith Cemetery, as most of them are direct relatives. I will be more than glad to do links and edits. Accuracy is important to me. Thanks to all volunteers for their hard work!!!

|Forrest Bosley Hare||Bakers & Weavers|
Hi again BG,
I just read your bio, and see we may have some links, namely Bakers, Shoemakers and Weavers.
I have a g g grand parents John (1816-1878)& Lydia Shumaker (1840-1914) Baker.
I also have Weavers on both sides of my family. On my fathers side the Weavers would be related to Hare, Igou, Breedlove, and Mary Ellen Stafford who married a Albert Jason Weaver in 1879 in Urbana, Ohio. Albert Jason was the son of Jason & Sarah A. Sloan Weaver. Any relation their?

Hello BG Fritz
I would be happy to manage the Saler files. I would also take any Baer, Bare, Bear, Shoemaker, Schumacher, Shumack, or Bittner (also spelled several different way). Also do you mind if I add any of your photos, with credit of course, to ancestry.com?
Thanks in advance,
Forrest Bosley Hare
|Bob & Valerie (Johnson) Freeman||RE: Levi Lochbaum|
You are quite welcome.
Laughbaum is my default search / spelling for this line as that is how my group spells the name.
I am descendant of Joseph Lochbaum & 2nd wife, Catherine thru their son, Solomon Lochbaum/Laughbaum.
Are you kin to the Lochbaum line?
I will be quite interested in what you find.

Thank you so much for filling my photo request. I really appreciate your high quality photograph! This stone was of particular interest to me because of some strange problems in the documents for this couple. This photograph puts a lot of confusion to rest! :-)
