Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have spent the last 10 years documenting cemeteries in the Beallsville/Scenery Hill/ Centerville area of Washington Co., PA - specifically Beallsville Cemetery and several Hill family cemeteries. Most of the photos I've taken can be located at along with scanned images of interment records, lot owner books, plotmaps, obituaries, photos, for Beallsville Cemetery. There are 8000+ burials in the cemetery so I continue to build and add to the website.
I have been adding memorials to this site for Beallsville cemetery, using a combination of interment records and tombstone inscriptions. I've noticed that some of the dates that are listed in the interment listings as death dates are actually burial dates and may be off by a day or two. For burials that have no associated tombstone, I can only list what is in the cemetery records. If you have any corrections for the death dates or other related information, I'm happy to hear from you so I can correct the cemetery website.

Photo use permission
Thank you for all the work at the cemetery. I am working on the Morris family and hoping that I can get permission to use a copy of your grave picture 91003811. I would give your name and where you use it. Thank you

Laura B Moffitt Pepper (#153778770), Taylor Cemetery
Birthdate should be Dec. 29, 1869 (not 1859)

Laura Belle also has memorial # 137114869 at Oak Grove cemetery. Could this mean that she was first buried at Oak Grove, then later moved to Taylor?

William Pepper (Mem # 110641810) Taylor Cemetery
Place of birth should be England. Documented baptism was on 16 March 1828 at Stoke Damerel Parish, Plymouth, Devon, England.

Thanks for a marvelous job on the website.

RE: Arcilla McNally
Thanks Debbie,

I appreciate it, and I sheepishly am returning to ask if I could also use the photos you took of the other McNally stones. Don't know why I was so short sighted and didn't think to ask about them when I asked about Arcilla. I think I was just so excited about finding hers that I got tunnel vision and forgot about the rest. Again, either way, I thank you all you've done.

Arcilla McNally
Hi Debbie,

Thank you for having taken the time and trouble to photograph and post Arcilla's gravestone. I really appreciate it. May I have your permission to post the photo on the Genealogy Profile web page I've created for her? Thank you for considering my request.

Steve Zavatchen
Thank you for going out and taking the photo of Steve Zavatchen's marker. I've been helping a friend create her family tree and this helps a lot. Thank you again.

RE: Chatham Jennings
Thank you so much for getting back to me.... I think I solved the mystery... I found his father's will :) I will be sending and edit to connect them. I think Thomas Irwin is Chatham's son... I had a memorial linked earlier, then i deleted it, but not it makes sense ;)
Would it be possible to manage Chatham's memorial?
I appreciate the consideration, but I totally understand if it isn't possible.
In Gratitude Either Way,
