In all of us there is a hunger, marrow deep, to know our heritage, to know who we are, and where we have come from.|
Without this enriching knowledge, there is a hollow yearning, no matter what our attainments in life; there is a most disquieting loneliness.
MISSION STATEMENT: To share genealogical information in the hopes of making other members of our family as obsessed with the lives of our ancestors as we have become.
I was born and raised in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington; now living in Oklahoma City. I am the 5th child of seven born to Dorothy née Lester. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Funeral Service with a minor in natural science from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. I spent many years employed as a License Funeral Director/Embalmer. After a career change; I finally retired from Department of Human Service, and now have time to search ancestors. I believe when searching ancestors it is important follow them from birth to their final resting place. I am a photo volunteer for FAG.
Family Historian My sister, Alice spent many years researching, documenting dates, places, photos, and events of our large family members and brances of; Lester, Long, Vinall, Turrell, Hart, Keck, Warren, Kane, Madden, Blessing and her Sampair family. She is our Family Historian for over 40 years.
Ancestry.com We are also an active member of Ancestry.com. Any family members from Canada, Ireland, England, Australia; including the US, we would love to hear from you. Please leave a message below and let us know you viewed our family Find A Grave memorial page and your relationship to any person on our family tree.
Thank You! My sincere appreciate and thank you to the FAG Photo Volunteers; who took time out of their day, to help a total stranger fulfill my photo request.♥
Addicted Genealogist You know you're an Addicted Genealogist when you hyperventilate at the sight of an old cemetery, if you'd rather browse in a cemetery than a shopping mall and if you'd rather read census schedules than a good book. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Jackie, I noticed that you posted some grave photos in Mount Pilgrim Cemetery and I've been looking for that cemetery. Could you possibly tell me how to get there from Edmond? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks.

My I have permission to use your photo of the Rose Hill Burial Gardens sign for my trees, private and public? Thanks for what you are doing on this site.
Hi Jackie, Do you know the location of Mr. Halko's burial? If so, just message me with it or email me at email@example.com with it. The photo of his marker is not great so maybe I can clean it up a bit and take a better one when I go for Mrs. Fisher's. Thanks.
|Deborah Ferguson||Thank you|
Thank you for leaving flowers on my grandfather's memorial. I love the way you expressed your love for genealogy, I feel the same way. Friends ask why I enjoy going to cemeteries, aren't they creepy? No, I find them beautiful, peaceful and the monuments works of art. Thank you for all you do.
Clara Madden #16808412 should be linked to her parents on here. FYI -Clara's parents are on Findagrave if you want to link them. Here is her father:
