I got the pictures of the Foster's graves today, per your photo request. Please note that they are in a flood prone area of South Side, and the stones are damaged. Wish the photos could have been better. The rain has been tremendous, and their grave site flooded several times. Thank you, Pam

|Marilyn Lewin||Sifford and Safrit family|
I'm sorry but I made a mistake in my original message. It was Eleanor "Nelly" Bost Lentz's grandson, Luther Martin Safrit, who was married to Elen Elizabeth Bost Sifford's granddaughter, Mary Nellie Sifford Safrit.
|Marilyn Lewin||RE: Elen Elizabeth Bost Sifford's death|
According to a cousin, Elen Elizabeth Bost Siffort
was buried at Salem Lutheran Church cemetery in Rowan County (Salisbury) NC. I will be in NC in August and will check with cousins to see if anyone has more info.
She was married to Samuel Sifford. She was my father's mother's (Mary Nellie Sifford Safrit) grandmother. Mary Nellie's father was Edmund Sifford.
|Marilyn Lewin||Elen Elizabeth Bost Sifford's death|
Can Elen Elizabeth Bost Sifford's date of death be verified. It seems unlikely that she would have died on 13 Jan 1899 because her sister Eleanor "Nelly Bost Lentz died on that date. Nelly is buried at Cross of Christ Church Cemetery Concord NC (Cabarrus Co.). My parents, grandparents and other relatives are buried at Cross of Christ and I have seen this tombstone and I have a picture of Nelly's stone which verifies her date of death as 13 Jan 1899.
Elen's grandson, Luther Martin Safrit, married Nelly's granddaughter, Mary Nellie Sifford, on 01 May 1904 in Rowan Co. NC. These were my grandparents.

I have transferred Corp Alexander to you for management since he is a member of your family. You never know what additional information you may find on him.

I am working on the Moose History and wondered if you know any more about this family ?
Where children are buried - wife's or husband's ?
Any help will be appreciated.
Have a great day,
