Those we love don't go away ~ They walk beside us everyday ~ Unseen, unheard , But always near ~ Still loved, still missed and very dear *

Death comes once, but a cemetery is forever

The quality, not the longevity, of one's life is what is important.

Please feel free to contact me about any graves I have listed. If I have listed someone that you are related to and I am not and you would like them transferred to you, please just let me know. If we are both related then I will have to think about it. Please feel free to use any of my photo's anywhere you want.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
(rev 21:4)

"Dear Ancestor
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and the date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who cares
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you."
-Poem by Walter Butler Palmer

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

Hi Barbara, My bad, You are absolutely correct. I've been working on trying to get rid of the tons of duplicate entries in this cemetery. I got my notes bas-ackwards. Keep up the good work of preserving the headstone documentation for future generations.

You are very welcome. I created a memorial for his wife Ruth so I could post her pictures as well. If you know her middle and/or maiden name, you are welcome to add the information.
Thank you,

I moved her to same cemetery as her parents. I went looking to see where I found it when I posted the information and the Bristol Herald Courier obit from Legacy. com is not there anymore. I will continue to do research and try to find an answer for you.

You're welcome, Barbara. I was hoping to get a new photo of the stone with Le's DOD before adding it to he memorial, but the weather hasn't been cooperating. So a new photo will have to wait.

Please find out as much info as you can about the location of the stone. I was there today 12/23/2016 and it was tough to find stones. There wasn't an office or anyone on the property and for some reason all of the street/lot signs were painted over in black. I will try again another time.

You're welcome. It was a challenge to locate the cemetery, but I gratified when I found it.

RE: transfer
Glad to do it. A relative should have management if they care to.
