Edits need to be entered under the edit section of the memorial. There are many options, as well as a blank option to fill in what you wish to be edited.|
Sending three transfer requests for the same person in less than a week will not help. I have limited times to work on edits and often multiple edits. If after 30 days you have not received a response, then request again.
Just because someone's name is on a marker............doesn't mean they have passed. I have had 2 family members who are ALIVE deleted due to someone adding them. Death date unknown is not appropriate for someone who has not passed.
If I make an error, by all means let me know. POLITELY please. If you decline an edit I make, it gives you the option to explain why or to question the edit. This is fine, but don't leave a tacky public message questioning "so why????"
If you have disabled your public messages, do not expect others to appreciate when you leave them a negative comment.............I guess they disable theirs to protect themselves from responses.
If I have added a photo to a memorial, and you would like it added to another (ie spouse, child, etc.) please make a request and I will do so. Please do not just add a photo of mine. I work hard to take these photos, edit them, and add them. Also, I do believe this is against FAG policy.

I see you maintain John W Boots memorial.
Are you related to him? Have you heard about Daniel Dean Boots Brother of Anna Boots her husband was David Wasson. Daniel Boots Wife was Minerva Jane Mosier they had a son in the 1880 census names William Fletcher Boots that's the only census he was in so I think he died before the next census.Do you have any information on this family or any pictures? How are you related to the Boots family
I am a relative of the Boots.
Thank you very much

|MPG||Donald Gallagher #122064252|
LAH, i tried by Edit to add birthdate and place, deathdate and place, also correct/full name, but it won't allow me to make Edits.....i would like to see info on DONALD EUGENE GALLAGHER correct. he is my second cousin, i know that don't count on Find A Grave guidelines, but i have been tracing my Gallagher relatives for over 63 years. any help you can do to make this Gallagher name correct, would be greatly appreciated by me and would "honor" Don's memory. i am not out for the "numbers game", my goal is to honor whomever i can, or stumble upon by adding correct info, maybe a tombstone pic, making a link to a parent or spouse, or just adding a bit of info that could never be found in any archives. Thank You, MPG = Michael Gallagher.

I'm writing concerning Thomas William Holloman and would like to ask if you would consider transferring care of his memorial over to me. Thomas is my father. I live out of the country and just found out about his passing.

Thank you for adding this memorial #157147434. I will be sending edits thru the proper channels to link to his parents. John J was my father's oldest cousin.
