I began family genealogy in the 1980's and I have become the family historian/genealogist for my mother, father and husband's families. I have visited a lot of graves, libraries, court houses and achieve facilities in order to research our families. When adding my family members to the findagrave website, I will include the information from family members, transcribed documents and my hypothesis of documents. Please be advised that the information posted on the grave sites have been checked as far as possible but it is in no way guaranteed to be 100% accurate. If you find a mistake, it has not been intentional and I would very much appreciate notification so the mistakes can be corrected. I do work a full time job and spend a lot of time with my grandchildren so if you send me information, please do not get upset if I do not respond immediately.|
I really appreciate all of the hard work going into this website as our heritage needs to be preserved and so many graves/records are being lost for so many different reasons.

Hi Sherry - I have deleted and re-submitted them. These are for the LeGrands in Jackson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Hi Sherry - I submitted several edits over two weeks ago that have not been processed, and wondered if there were any issues with them, or if you are still actively managing memorials - could you please let me know?

Will you please share your photo of Samuel Padgett with his wife, Mildred. Thank you.

Do you have any information on Daniel M. Melton buried at Pleasant Hill in Bethune. I believe he is the son of Jesse Melton from Chesterfield County but the dates on the death certificate are entirely different from the stone. I can find no death certificate for Daniel M. Melton or Gillie Davis Melton from the dates on their stone. The death certificate of Daniel Melton 12004 clearly lists his father as Jess Melton and his burial place as Pleasant Hill, Bethune, S.C.
