Thanks for asking about the Elks Grove plot. I appreciate your consideration. I say...the more the merrier! Please keep doing what you're doing.
Hello Janet. What is your source for Emma's month and day of birth ? I try to add the source if known. Thank you for your contributions to this sight.

|Dana Nowak||Frederick Green Wright|
I was really surprised to see a photo and bio of my maternal grandfather whom I never got to meet. Only my oldest brother Tim, (deceased 1996) had very few memories of Corporal Wright. I was wondering how you got the info and photo's of Fred and his older brother's Eddie and Anson and their wives Mary and Alice. Ed and Mary belonged to the Native sons and daughters of the Golden West, open only to California born. Ed, Anson and Fred's mother belonged to the society of California pioneer women group (now defunct) that met in a log cabin at Golden gate park. What other interesting things do you know about my Wright, Pell and Cohea ancestor's that I don't know already? Would love to hear from you. Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message on ancestry California/Santa Clara county boards. I am now a recent transplant to Capitola by the sea. Are you any relation to Mary Connor Wright or Alice Brown Wright, my great aunt's by marriage. I think all of us kids missed out by not ever meeting these people (my brother's Tim and Chris did meet Uncle Eddie a few years before he passed in 1959). Their mother outlived her three sons and died a year after Eddie. I am not working now and not on Ancestry.com but if you are, have a look at my Nowak family tree (Cohea's, Pells, and Wrights included).
Hope you had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year,
Dana E Nowak

You're very welcome. I added a record for Willard Gutches (Find A Grave Memorial# 134905424) who shares the plot and posted the locator map for Raymond. Andrew, Abby, Georgia and Herbert are next to Raymond as well.

Thank You, Janet!
|cbury||RE: Daniel Rickter|
Sorry, I don't check messages her often.
Dan Rickter was my uncle, my mother's brother.
When he divorced his wife went through a bit of personal crisis and changed his name from Daniel Urman Rickter to Daniel McCloud Larson.
Larson was the last name of his immigrant paternal grandfather who changed the family name to Rickter when arriving in America from Sweden - since Swedes don't follow our system of lastnames anyway (taking the forename of their father and adding son to the end).
McCloud was the last name at birth of Dan's Maternal grandmother.
Here is Dan's birth record:
California Birth Index, 1905-1995
about Daniel Urman Rickter
Name: Daniel Urman Rickter
Birth Date: 17 Nov 1928
Mother's Maiden Name: Murphey
Birth County: Humboldt
And death record:
Name: Daniel Mccloud Larson
Event Type: Death
Event Date: 10 Mar 1986
Event Place: Contra Costa, California, United States
Birth Date: 17 Nov 1928
Mother's Name: Murphy

I was going to ask you why John wasn't entered yet and there he is! :-0
I've been comparing the different surveys of the old section, hoping that we could zero in on likely locations by eliminating all the known ones.
Still got a lot to go.
Things going well for you?
