The Tregre's
Mary Agnes,

I know you hadn't asked yet, but I took the photos of the Tregre's gravesite at Westlawn today. It should be ready whenever you need them.

Thanks Mary for the plot info for the White memorials at Roselawn!

I went ahead and added some more info and linked them together.

Mary Agnes,

I was disappointed that there were no names or dates listed. Its a nice tomb, one would think there would be at least one name or date on it.

Oh well.

Mary Agnes,

Let me know what you ultimately find out, just out of my idle curosity.

Good Morning Mary!
I have sent the "edits" pertaining to the questioned Memorials.
My family connection is with Ethel Dugas Menuet through marriage.
I will try to find out about Katherine and what happened.
As to your question about the young man who died in the cane machinery accident, I don't have a clue. It happened on my cousin's plantation. Funny how they called him Col. St. Martin, a rank he did not attain in the Civil War.

RE: Re: Ferdie Schexnayder

There is a Ferduice Schexnayder buried at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve, LA (St. John the Baptist Parish). He was married to Lelia Waguespack Schexnayder. He died January 11, 1977.

He was the father of Miss Marie Schexnayder, Sophie Hotard, Eleanor Hofman, and Alma Martin.

I could find nothing else about either of them.

There is no memorial page for either. Could this be the person you are seeking?
