Bio and Links
Born and raised in Selmer, McNairy County, Tennessee. Graduated from the University of Tennessee-Martin in 1981 with a B.S. in Business. Researching Curtis, Chambers, Cooke, Hargett, Harrell, McDearman, Pipkin in West TN and Reedy, Scribner/(Scrivner), Payne, Pierce, Moore in North Mississippi.

My interest in genealogy started as a child with a small handmade book of the Curtis side of the family dating to 1813 that my grandfather had, he left it to my father and I became hooked.

I'm in the healthcare field as a nursing home administrator for 32 years; currently in central Florida. Married for 29 years with two daughters and a granddaughter.

I am not sure why there is no VA marker on his grave. He is buried between Frank Worley on the left and Omar Murphy on the right, they are in spaces 4 and 6. AL stands for American Legion so everyone in that section is a veteran and and should have a veterans market. They do have a cross for holding flags on his grave but I guess no one ever requested the VA marker for him, which is kind of sad
