I am a retired Army Officer, Civil War enthusiast, and amateur genealogist with an excellent camera. I am also an old geezer who needs the exercise I get walking the 100+ cemeteries of Rockbridge County, Virginia (most of them are hilly).|
If anyone is not satisfied with any photo of a grave marker that I have taken, please let me know via email and I will be glad to either remove it or retake the image. Likewise, if I create a memorial that is offensive or incorrect in any way, let me know and I will either correct the information or remove the memorial.
I try hard to take a photograph where the information on the marker is readable in the image. I DO NOT CLEAN STONES, but upon request, I will return when there is a different light situation to see if I can capture a better image. Also, I do not post images to a memorial that already has a photo unless there is a request for a better photo. But I may at times add a photo to a memorial that has no image even without a request.
Family members have my permission to privately use my photos of the grave markers of your ancestors for genealogical purposes on sites such as Ancestry.com or Rootsweb.com, but DO NOT COPY elsewhere on Find A Grave, Billion Graves, other sites listing graves, the internet or for commercial use. My photos all have a copyright embedded in the image metadata. Please email me if you use one of my photos so I know they are being appreciated elsewhere.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial I have created if it is for one of your ancestors within 4 generations and not in my direct line. Once I transfer a memorial, you may alter it, but it shall NOT be deleted.

|J Blue||RE: Nuckols|
YES! :) Sallie is my connection to the Nuckols family. Her headstone photo that is on the page now the left side of the marker is covered with dirt and weeds. I wanted the cemetery to uncover it, but I don't know that they have. It's sad when the markers get over grown and no one cares for them.

|J Blue||Thank You!|
Thank you so much for the Nuckols headstone photos you took for me in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery! The plot map I got from the Cemetery shows Brown Ramsey buried in that plot, so maybe he is just in there with no headstone. Thanks again that was SO FAST and I REALLY appreciate your efforts in my ancestors behalf! :)

|Charlotte Graves||John Ayers|
Thank you SO MUCH for the photo of the tombstone of John Ayers. I appreciate your time and effort, which has helped me clarify some data for my family tree.
Thanks for trying to locate her gravestone. Since I am in Texas I really have no idea what type of headstone/marker she would have. I will try to get aholt of the church and see if they have that kind of information. Seems I'm related to every Hite/Hight and their descendants in Rockbridge, Nelson, and Augusta too!
