A Baby Boomer, born on August 9, 1951, now considered a Senior Citizen. That makes me laugh -- I don't feel like a Senior Citizen, but I do take advantage of the discounts! |
I retired from the Sheboygan Police Department on my birthday, August 9, 2013. In July of 2016, my husband and I bought the home I grew up in. We moved in on September 23, 2016. I am so happy to be back in my home town of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
My only child, Rebecca Rose, suffered and died of leukemia when she was "almost five." It's true when they say, you can't understand the pain and grief of losing a child unless you have experienced it yourself. How I wish Find A Grave had been around in 1983 when Becky passed away. Find A Grave has been a true comfort and a blessing to me personally. Such wonderful people I have met here!
My husband is Daniel. We married on September 4, 1999. He is a retired Technical Sergeant of the United States Air Force. He has two wonderful adult daughters from a previous marriage, Melina and Sally. I have two wonderful son-in-laws, Melina's husband Wil, and Sally's husband Chris. I am also a step-grandmother to Liam and Mila, but Sally corrects me and says I'm just grandma, forget the step. Melina and Wil are the parents of Priscilla and Moises. This is a joy I thought I'd never experience -- being a grandmother to four beautiful children!
Note: THANK YOU to all the kind people who have left notes and/or flowers on the sites of my loved ones. I believe that every time someone leaves a message, the person it was intended for knows that you are thinking of them, which is very comforting to me.

Hi Lori.. I just noticed this Message you left for me a year ago, when I logged on to leave flowers for my moms birthday. I can't believe it's 13 years and 10 months since I became a member of find a grave .. I met so many amazing people here, including you ❤️I treasure our friendship, and I'm so happy to have you in my life .. love you ❤️

I made the correction you asked for - purely my mistake the way she had been listed. These Nash's are all relatives of mine also. Franklin & Cornelia would have been 3rd great uncle and aunt to me. Our common connection would be Luke & Orrilla (Spooner) Nash, since Franklin was one of their children. Franklin's brother Daniel is my 2nd great grandfather.

I transferred Cleo to you. I don't mind transferring out of guidelines to people like you that add beautiful bio's and photo's the the memorials and aren't just "collecting". Kathy

You are most welcome. The amazing world it is, I had been randomly visiting a tribute from Australia and saw your message to Susan Emery, or I would have never known your Mom is in heaven. I stopped believing in coincidences years ago and believe there is a reason for everything no matter how big or small.
I am pleased you like the cardinals as they are significant to me as well.

My sincerest condolences, I left her a rose this morning. My prayers.

|Traci's Mom||RE: Your note on Traci Fields memorial page|
Lori, I'm sure Becky and Traci are very good friends in heaven and are watching over each other and us. It hurts so much but we will all be together again. Our angels will be waiting for us when we get there.
GOD bless you, Lori!
