For corrections that need to be made, information you wish to add to a memorial, or to link family members, please use the edit button found at the upper right corner of each memorial. |
If you would like to obtain and care for one or more memorials, please let me know. I will gladly transfer them to you without question. Multiple requests are welcome! This includes all but about 100 memorials in which I desire to manage...however, if you are a closer relative than I am to those memorials, I will transfer them to you as well.
Most of my virtual flowers are actually American Flags I have placed on memorials of our military veterans.
Because of time and other interests I will no longer be adding memorials to Find-A-Grave except possibly for family and friends.
Adding 2,000 memorials is my way of giving back. I will continue to monitor my memorials and make necessary changes.
I am thankful for Find-A-Grave and to all the volunteers who have spent their time and effort by contributing to help make this a great tool and website for many people, including myself!

Thanks for the reply! I will link Patricia as spouse. I posted her obit on here memorial page which lists his name as surviving. She was Patricia Kathleen Edwards from NC. She raised my friends father as his Aunt and we are trying to figure out which sibling it was that was his biological parent. I haven't found a marriage record for them and am even unsure what state or year it would have been. Thanks again and let me know if you hear anything else.

My husband is Marguerite's son. Glad you enjoyed the pictures.
|Tina Williams Wood Swyers||RE: Martin C. Benson's wife Nancy Jane Williams|
Hi Thanks for responding. I did find some parents of Nancy Jane Williams, but didn't see a connection to my yet. We are at a brick was with a John and his wife who were killed in an Indian attack in Frederick Co., Va/Hampshire Co., WV in 1755.
I found the most interesting letter that Martin C. Benson wrote in a tree. It must have been right before he met Nancy, because he was talking about visiting a couple of ladies in Tennessee coming from Kentucky and then he goes back to Kentucky. If you e-mail me, I will send you copies. I saved it to my computer. Tina

Hi: I found your post on Martin C. Benson and I am in hopes someone might know of his wife Nancy Jane Williams. I am a Williams researcher and my 3rd great grandfather, Josiah Williams lived in Graves Co., KY. William C. Williams was in the 1860 census of Graves Co., KY with only 3 of his oldest children -- his wife Nancy Joiner had died. A couple of pages away, there are three Williams children living with Martin Benson and his wife Nancy. We are trying to establish a connection to these children. Maybe youngest sons of William C. Williams and Nancy Joiner.

|Ken Bosso||Thank You|
Thank you for your comments and prayers. After my wife died I started pulling together some family records. I have found many family graves that I did not know where they were buried. This is a great site to help future generations find their families.

This is Shirley's nephew and I need to add his father's ID # to his memorial - 119691321. You can either do it or assign it to me.
|Hazel Payne Miley LeBlanc||Your not being so active on FAG|
Cory, I just read your message about not being as active on Find A Grave. So sorry to hear that. Best wishes always. Hazel

Transfer not necessary. I'd met his sisters years ago, and I'll have more info, hopefully, in the future, but you're great to add info for me. Thanks Cory
