I was born in Big Spring, Texas to Ollie Ivan Deel and Helen Francis Wood. I am a retired Senior State Trooper with the Texas Highway Patrol, Department of Public Safety (State Police). I served the state of Texas for over 28 years. In my law enforcement career, I always treated people the way that I would want to be treated if I were in their place.
