I became interested in FAG as a result of working on my ancestry. I was born on the 19th of September 1955. I am the mother of four children , and grandmother of two. I believe as long as we live we should keep the memories of our family alive. As well as knowing, the lives our ancestors lived, the choices they made, is for a large part, why we are who we are today.|

You're welcome! No, we're not related to him. We were visiting relatives graves at Moffett Cemetery and tried to take pictures of any recent graves.

Thanks much Omadell's grave phone. She is the mother of my sister-in-law.

|m.j. bare||Thank you - Emma S. Bare|
Thank you for taking the photograph of Emma S. Bare's memorial. I did not realize there was not a headstone, so the reference photographs help.
Silly machine posted before I could type any thing.
At this time I don't know where he is buried. I'm going to assume it's in Jefferson County. I'm currently helping someone try and find her link to Runyons in the county in 1840.
While researching I came across Kelso and his wife Ann. I found him in Madison, 1850 with what I think might be the child of her relative Harriett(she died in 1839).
We have an obit for Harriett (pretty rare for that time frame), and have her husband but not her parents who were still alive at the time of her death.
I'm trying to help her link pieces together and get past her roadblock.
There is another newspaper article we are trying to track down from the Madison Courier that might have Harriett's parents names. Most of those newspapers are on a pay to view site so I'm hoping she can find the article that pre-dated the article I sent her from my genealogy newspaper website.
What is your stance on sharing photos? I would like to use the photo of John Van Cleave on my family history blog.
