 | John Kirkpatrick I was able to visit my gg grandfather's gravesite last week while I was visiting Iowa thanks to your great directions after getting lost. It was just as you described and I was amazed to see it in the middle of a housing development. It is so good to know our veterans are still appreciated. I wanted to leave flowers but didn't know if it is allowed.

 | Grave for my gggrandfather Hello,
Thank your for entering my ancestor's gravesite on Findagrave. I am going to be in Iowas for a wedding the first week of April and would like to visit his gravesite if possible. Do you know if one is able to enter this private property and do you have directions on how to get there? We will be staying in Cedar Rapids. Thank you, Jean Kennedy Dochter | | | wolflady
 | Robert J Dore Headstone Mr Wilkinson, Thank you so much for all that you do! I searched and searched Mt Olivet for this grave and could not find it! This man was my Great grt Uncle, and if you would like, I can fill in a couple of blanks for you. He was born in Abbeyfeale, Limerick, Ireland on May 18, 1879. His brother and sister-in-law, Maurice R and Mary R Dore, are also buried there. They were my grt grandparents, and I have their headstones. His wife was Agnes Hickey - Dore, also born Abbeyfeale, Limerick, Ireland, in 1877. I don't know that you have found her marker, I cant seem to find any info on it, altho I am certain it is there too, the whole family was. If you would like to update that page with any of this info, feel free. I noticed his dob was not on the marker. Thank you again. | John L. Erusha 1889 -1946 I just found the stained glass window for the above person and his spouse, Svoboda Erusha, is listed ON EBAY. How in the world could this have happened? Is it possible for you to take a photo of John's grave? I have to wonder if it might be a mausoleum, which would explain why there is a stained glass window? Perhaps it was removed? Thanks....I'm just awfully curious to know something about this.

 | Sacred Heart Cemetery I have loaded all of this cemetery on IAGenWeb, Jones County. If you go there, the names will be indexed and you can find who you wish. Thank you. | | | Eternity Persephone
 | Mount Olivet Cemetery Photo - Colorado Hi John,
I just wanted to tell you what a beautiful photo you took of the sign out at Mount Olivet Cemetery! The contrast of the dark clouds against the sign, makes for a very remarkable photograph. Thanks for adding it. (:

 | Sarah F Reynolds - #28702476 Sarah Francis Reynolds was the daughter of J W and M A Reynolds aged 15 yrs 2 ms 21 ds.
She was born 27 Aug 1859, Washington Township, Linn County, Iowa; died 18 Nov 1874, Linn County, Iowa.
Thanks for taking the time to take the photos of the tombstones in Shiloh Cemetery. I appreciate it very much as I now live in Texas and don't get back to the Cedar Rapids area too often.

 | Malinda J Newman-#28702274 I am looking at the Find-a-Grave memorial for Malinda J Newman. You do not have a death date for her and I see that the stone doesn't have the date either. I don't think she is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery.
In my database I have Melinda J Newman, born 2 Feb 1853 and the daughter of John Nelson Newman and Zilpha Reynolds. She was married to Hamilton D Newland and they are both buried in the Center Point Cemetery. Her name is on the tombstone with Hamilton in that cemetery.
Melinda's family are descendants of the brother of my great-great-great-grandfather, Thomas D Newman.Added by Marian on Jan 17, 2012 3:03 PM | | | CJeanealogy
 | RE: Charles Henry Bagley Thanks for adding that info. He is very distantly related. I'm sure someone closer related would be happier to have his memorial. Thanks for the offer though. | | | | [View all messages...] |
