I enjoy locating "lost" cemeteries and doing complete surveys of them, as well as other local cemeteries. I add as many photos as I possibly can, usually during the winter season. I tend to get involved in the people buried in the cemeteries and try to use my genealogy skills of over 30 years to link those buried to their loved ones. This is done to make it easier for researchers to locate family members.
Feel free to use my photos of gravestones as you wish. They are available to all. But please contact me about the use of any items other than gravestones. DO NOT USE MY PHOTOS ON MEMORIALS PLACED IN A WRONG CEMETERY.
Please send requests through the edit button. I am happy to transfer your family and friends to you, as long as they aren't mine too. I AM A CARETAKER WHO IS ONLY WAITING FOR A FAMILY MEMBER TO CLAIM THEIR LOVED ONE. I am not here to build numbers. These graves belong to those who loved them, even if they never met in life.
Sadly, I will no longer delete my entries after I locate a correct gravestone in a correct cemetery just because someone added a number of listings without regard to accuracy of placement. It is not fair that I spend my time, my gas, hunt down owners of the properties, bee stings, and even risk to my life (bull in the pasture and electrified fence) to photo gravestones only later to find that someone has placed a name in either an incorrect cemetery or has a burial unknown and then expects me to delete my entry. I WILL TRANSFER my submissions after the incorrect entry is deleted. This way both get credit and the person who makes the incorrect entry still has a memorial they maintain. I feel this is more than fair. This is in accordance with FAG rules! I refer you to Find A Grave rules: "In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location". Thanks for listening to my venting!
Happy hunting! | |

 | Garry Wright # 40682484 Thanks for the information you sent for my father-in-law, Garry Wright. His ashes were held at Maus. B for committal and then were buried where you found his gravestone. Did you by chance take a picture of his headstone? I do not have one and would like for it to be posted if you have it. Thanks again.Added by Indyanna on May 18, 2013 6:13 AM | | | Doris Aliff
