Love looking for family and all that goes with it. |
Feel free to email me with any questions.
I lost my great grandparents, my grandparents, my parents and my photos, my children, my spouses and all the other genealogical materials I had in a fire in 2006... Had all that stuff stored in a very expensive safe, but the safe didn't survive the infernal of over 3,000 degrees in one of those arson fires... I am grateful for what I had uploaded to ancestry and wish that the other 3,000 items had been uploaded...so I am very grateful for other's that share... Thanks so very much....
For the state of Oklahoma, they have another website with headstone photos. http://www.okcemeteries.net
Click on the county, then the cemetery and you can find all the headstone photos that are posted. Enjoy.
I am searching for all lines that link, no matter how distant the person or place... Thanks for any help along the way..
I don't need to own all my family memorials, but I do want to find my family.... I have over 100,000 family members, so all you volunteers and memorial providers, thanks in advance.... I only wish that if you are going to have a family member of mine, that you try to keep it updated...if I send you info... Thanks again for all the hard work you volunteers do for the rest of us...
I only take photos in the spring and early fall... but I know there are a ton of volunteers out here, so your requests will get done..
If you need a transfer, just ask...
Here is a deal I will make for you... I love sharing and will share just about anything (husband says too much sharing) but I do love sharing. Enjoy anything you find and you can copy it and I need no credit.
I find missing loved ones all the time that I never got a chance to meet... I am so grateful for family and strangers that I have met that are willing to share their information. What a joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
Any Memorial transferred to me from my cousin Cynthia Osborn will not be transferred as I manage all her memorials for her....Thank you.

You're welcome. There are 2 other Schellengers on the front side of the monument with Charles. Nathaniel G died May 18, 1871 age 46 and Lucretia 1829-1913. G.A.S. is on a headstone for Georgia but her name, dob, or dod is not on either stone. There is also a stone for a baby boy born to Charles & Georgia who died Aug 28, 1887 at the age of 6 months 23 days. The name looks like Boy G. If you want to create memorials I have photos to post.

|Andrew Ayers Martin, M.D., J.D.||Thank You|
Thank you Gloria. There are some inactive Find a Grave members who manage the accounts for some of my ancestors. In some cases, I have information which might make the find a grave memorials more complete or accurate. Nice to meet you. Andy

You're welcome, Gloria!
|Erin K.||Hilda Gillespie|
I just double checked my info on the death dates for Hilda. She did indeed die in 1972, although the SSDI says 1962. A typo, I assume. I confirmed it with her obit. It was published the day after her death, June 13, 1972. In it, only 2 of her 3 siblings were listed. The other, Ida Lee, died in 1963, and she wasn't listed.

|Erin K.||Sarah Ferguson Riley|
Thanks for the offer to transfer, but I don't have any additional info to add at this time. If at some point I do, I will send the info to you to add.
Yes, Rolla Leander Lewis (Leander was his father) is the one I was referring to. I've seen several spellings for Rolla (Rolly, Raleigh, etc), and he seemed to use both Lewis and Riley as surnames. I tried to find the prison records from Illinois, but didn't know about the other prison. I'll see if I can find anything there.
I usually work on genealogy during the winter, as the rest of the year my work keeps me too busy. I'll contact you soon to compare notes! Thanks!-

|Michele Shames||Otto Dickens family genealogy question|
I went to Otto Dickens' web site and found you had posted a photo of him with his wife and mother in law. I'm writing to ask if you are related to Mr. Dickens or did you post the photo for someone else?
