Born and raised in Owatonna, Minnesota.|
28 years in the USAF (1964-1992), retired as a LtCol. Then worked for Regions Bank in the IT Dept for 13 years. Now retired, retired.
Most of my relatives are buried in Southern Minnesota in Owatonna, Litomysl and Faribault at Owatonna Memorial Gardens, Bohemian National, Forest Hill, Sacred Heart, Holy Trinity and Calvary; and in Iowa at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Family names in addition to Krahulec are Kubicek, Blazek, Schultz, Rysavy and Matejcek.
I have resided in Illinois just across the Mississippi River in the St. Louis Metro East for the last 30 years.
I will gladly transfer ownership of memorials to relatives upon request.

Hi: I don't believe that John Stark is buried in Belmond Cemetery. He is not listed on their cemetery directory and I cannot find any connection to Belmond from his obituary.
|Steve Kiner||RE: Ray and Henry Kubicek|
You're welcome. I didn't see any spouses but will double check next time I'm there to be sure.
|Kathy Brick||RE: Five Kubicek women|
You're Welcome Jim.
Glad I could get those for you.

Your note on my profile sounds like you are perturbed by 5 emails that the website automatically generated to you via the photo request system. Rest assured that myself, an actual human being, would not send you 5 identical emails. Their phone number can be obtained from the cemetery link on each of your memorials: It is (403) 285-0660. Be sure to frame your phone call with the knowledge that they do not want volunteer photographers there and that they have actually asked volunteers to leave recently. Good luck.

When you look at the listing of the burials in the cemetery, it shows an icon after the persons name if there is a photo on the memorial. When that photo is of the gravestone the icon is a little tombstone, when it is a photo of the person the icon is a small picture frame. This also determines where the memorial shows up if you search by "Names with no grave photo" - in this case, because you placed a picture which is recognized as a gravestone photo, the memorial will not show up in that search. When you enter the photo for the memorial there is a drop-down box just above the box where you browse or enter the file name you are adding - your choices for type of photo are: Grave, Person, Family or Other. In this case you should choose "Person", not the default choice of grave. Unfortunately, I think the only way to correct this is to delete the photo and start over. If you have further questions please let me know!

The phone number would be terrific. I would just reach out, introduce myself and if he or anyone in his family are interested in the family history, would share information with them.
Thank you again and good luck.

Thank you for the additional information on my cousins, Fred and Irene Heilig. it is appreciated. I noticed that you also have two other memorials for Heiligs, both in Bond County. To my knowledge they are not related to me or to Fred and Irene. If you have any additional information, I would appreciate it.

You're Welcome Jim,
Again I am glad that I could fill your request. I don't know if I will get to LITOMYSL this season? I have some family issues at the moment that are taking up my spare time... Hope that you enjoy your trip to Owatonna in October.

That would be wonderful to have all their graves.
Thank you so much,
