Bio Photo I'm a genealogy nut, but don't have a lot of time to work on it, unfortunately. I hope that at some time, some of the work I've done will be useful to someone else working on their family history. Every time I add a name I stop to remember what these people have done and what kind of impact they've had on someone's life. I'm grateful I can do this for them. If you have any changes to make to anything I've entered, please e-mail me and let me know.

You tagged Ervin Brasch, Find A Grave Memorial# 64161106, Do you know if his given name was Alvin from Cuming, Nebraska? I have Alvin b Sep. 1887 on 1900 Census that tells me there is a match to this Ervin on Family Search.

RE: ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
Thank you so much for helping with this project already! Many of those that served in the military have no indication on their grave site so we depend on word of mouth to help us know of the veterans so we can honor them with a flag on Memorial Day.
We are doing this project sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge. We are always looking for volunteers to help with placing the flags and/or picking them up after Memorial Day. We place thousands of flags in the cemetery. We usually start on Wednesday before Memorial Day and try to be done by no later than noon on Friday as the traffic in the cemetery gets quite heavy. Then later in the afternoon on Sunday after Memorial Day we walk and pick up the flags. These are then sorted and stored for next year. We are in the process of upgrading our flags to medium and larger flags as they are easier seen (We have been using small flags which soon get lost in the grass!)

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or no of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

RE: Paul Sprick
I'm going to need to know what cemetery you are talking about. If you go to the memorial page and click edit at the top with the change you want made, that is the easiest. Thank you, Lynn

Victor Clay Barringer
Thought you would be interested in going back to the memorial of Victor Clay Barringer Find A Grave#39830996 who is buried in Washington, DC.

You left a memorial flower to him in June.

I have added additional information on Victor's memorial that you may be interested in reading.

A best selling book could be written on the Barringer family.

RE: Browns at Mt Hope in Omaha
Thanks so much for taking the pictures of the Browns, and for making an additional trip to find Samuel's grave. I do appreciate it. I got the SAC for Robert and fixed the date - thanks for letting me know. It's unfortunate that Andrew doesn't have a marker since he was a military vet. Thanks again!

Very welcome for all - glad to help. Haven't been to Ohana in 100 years; nice place as I recall. I liked the zoo. cb
