I have been tracing my family history for a couple of years now. |
I live on the East Side of Cleveland.
I am particularly interested in Jewish genealogy.
I am researching the names Dann, Oxman, Poczciwy, Stern, Markowitz, Lewensohn, Marcus, Hollander, Arian, Zahm, and Greenberger.
Ancestors, besides Eastern Europe, are buried in Milwaukee, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Mansfield, OH.

Yes, my blog is "A Jewish Genealogy Journey" and you can see the two posts about my husband's Aunt Margaret if you go to A Jewish Genealogy Journey: Levine.

Thank you for providing me Meyer Levine's parents' memorials to link to. Are you related? Meyer was married to the sister of my father-in-law.
Dear Scott, thank you very much for taking photos of the Fromson family gravestones. I appreciate your help.
By the way, I have Hollander in my family tree, but they are through marriage into the Fromson family.
All the best,

Thank you so much for the photo of Uncle Harvey's marker. I appreciate your time and effort!

Thank you for the photos of Goldstein, Myeroff, and Solomon in Zion Memorial Park. And a belated thank you for the photos you took in July of Regina and Jake Solomon at Bet Olam.
I see from your description that one of the surnames you're researching is Hollander. My husband's grandmother was a Hollander, from Hungary.

I need your e-mail address; the four photos bounced back when sent to the find-a-grave address.
|Bronx Aquarian||family stone next to Harry's|
When I photographed Harry Cohen's stone at Mt. Hope, I read the two stones next to him. To me, they clearly are his brother (DANIEL) and sister-in-law (FRANCIS). They both died on the same day 29 October 1922. Are you interested in these stones?
Francis stone had a picture on it.

You are most welcome! I am not sure if you are aware of something, though....While photographing the stone for Bettye Arian, I noticed the grave stone of Kenneth Lee Arian 1/6/58-4/25/2008 just two spaces away from Bettye Arian. There is one unmarked space in between them. I photographed his stone also. I assume he is related to Bettye.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
All the best,
