I am currently working on Fair View Cemetery in Roanoke, Virginia--if I add your family member let me know I will transfer.

PLEASE DO NOT CREATE DUPLICATE MEMORIALS IF YOU FIND SOMEONE HAS DONE SO THE ONE WHO ADDED IT FIRST IS TRUMP I WILL TRANSFER ANY MEMORIAL TO YOU IF I HAVE IT AS LONG AS ITS NOT MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY.***It becomes confusing when linking folks to their families.

William Carper Turner
Hey. I was wondering where you got the information on William Carper Turner that is buried in Fairview. He died in 1918. I ask because I am hoping that he is my relative. I got his death certificate awhile back, but some information doesn't add up. I am hoping he is the son of Creed Turner and Lizzie Haynes. The death certificate gives his parents and William and Elizabeth Turner. So it could be, but when I came to your page for him, you have his parents listed as W. C. and Elizabeth Hayes Turner. I am thinking maybe his father was William C(reed) Turner and Lizzie for his mother. I just didn't know if you got the information from a cemetery record since you are working on Fairview. I would love to know any additional information you have or if you know who owned/purchased the plot or if anyone else is buried there with him. Thanks for your time. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks again.

I'm appreciate the new photo but since I didn't add the other one I cannot delete it. It was added by Anthony. You need to contact him.

Thanks so much, Henry

Bishops
Do your Bishops connect to the Lunenburg Bishops? We are also related to the line in Dinwiddie.

Thank You
I wanted to say thank you for all your hard work. I've found many things about the Mayes family thanks to you. Virginia is not the easiest state to find information on family members. Which is where a lot of my relatives are from and thank to people like you I've been able to connect many of them. Thanks again. Estelle High

Family links
Hi Amanda,
I just noticed this and I wanted to let you know - and maybe there is just something wrong with the suggestion system? - but when you send a family link suggestion for just one member (for example, to link somebody's father) and there are already existing family links on the memorial (like mother & spouse) - the edit suggestion blanks the existing links out it looks like. So for the suggestion to link Mahettable Barfield to her father Samuel Crosier it's showing the links to Nannie Crosier and Percy Barfield as both unknown. :( Just wanted to give you a heads-up in case it's happening to everybody and to let you know that I didn't erase any links you sent previously!! (I'll reject the suggestion and manually add this link - no need to go back & re-look memorial numbers up!)

Have a great day!

RE: Frank Hodges
Thanks for the effort for my cousin Harold Hodges.
I found his obituary on line. He has very little family locally, so I guess they haven't erected a marker yet.
The Nancy Hodges info helps.
Your efforts and communication are greatly appreciated.

RE: Nannie Terrell
Amanda, Thank you greatly for the transfers of our great grandmother's sister and family. And I will be incredibly thankful if you are able to take any photos of our Mills Family. There were 20 graves in the original lot. John & Mary Mills. Sons Andrew Jackson "Jack" and wife Bertha, John W. and wife Daisy Mills and daughter Valarie Williams (died 1990), Nannie you created. I am busy tonight attempting to link up the family, and what a surprise to get your e-mails! Thank you again!

RE: Frank Hodges
Thanks for the willingness to help. Didn't thimnk about this before, but when you go, could you note if he shares or is next to a marker for Nancy Grubbs Hodges? Very appreciative.
