Help yourself to anything I have. The Breazeale line is my husbands actually, so I don't have as much on it as some others. I will try to make sure I have posted everything I have.
Hope you get to make your trip.

Was just working on updates and saw the photo for Nancy. I didn't see that I thanked you and with senior moments a potential, I didn't want you to not be acknowledged. Really appreciate the extra effort you went to to make it readable. Thanks for making a documented memory for her family! May you be blessed for blessing others!
I just discovered 2 days ago my family's tie to the Pitts family; we are also descendants of them, including Barbee Pitts. My great-great-grandfather was John Young Short, who married Sarah Pitts. Would love to connect to find out anything more about the Pitts family I can, or be pointed in the right direction.

Thanks for all the trouble. She was so irate about him being a Confederate and wanted me to change it and I emailed her back for the 3rd time explaining that I did not create the memorial and I did not take the photos. I did not want to change it as you were the one who put the information on the memorial so I just deleted that part and then I heard from her again to contact the creator and she could find the information on the memorial. Let me know if you hear from her. Hope she does not get too huffy with you like she did with me. Every once in a while I run across someone like that and it just takes all the fun out of what we are all trying to accomplish. I did write back to her and told her not to contact me again unless she could be more civil to me.
Thanks for all your help.

There is an ancestor that has been sending me nasty emails saying he was Confederate. I would not know as I did not create the memorial nor did I take the photo and I told her that but she still keeps emailing me. The best thing to do is take a photo of the back of headstone. She also said he was born in Tennessee and lived and served in North Carolina. This is her email address, would you please contact her and explain. I am going to transfer the memorial back to you as I am not going to put up with this abuse.
Thanks so much for your help. Debra

Hey There My Oklahoma Friend,
Nice to hear from you..I just sent you an e-mail..I have thought of you often as well...
Debbie, you did not give me a personal address when you wrote to me. I enjoyed your message very much. I do know that there was no way that you would have known about the misspellings and incorrect death date.
I applaud you for your efforts in finding and locating people. Not everyone would take the time necessary to do so.
I am very happy to have heard from you and hope that you will take time to write occasionally.
I added you to my friends list. If ok with you.

|Orlena||RE: Earnie McCorkle Photo Request|
I am somewhat familiar with the Lowell cemetery, I have family there. The Brasch/Bash families are mine. They are the same family. They should all be Brasch. I also have friends buried there.
So while small, with his wife's marker photo as an example, the photo let me know what I was mostly interested in knowing.
I'll admit it wouldn't be much help if hers wasn't there and someone wasn't familiar with the type grave marker.
The problem in many cases with the photo request is that if they are there, they no longer have a tombstone if they ever had one. Spelling can also be a problem.
It's been awhile since I checked for request that I know aren't there.
Who were you looking for, I may be able to help.
Lowell as in some of our other cemeteries has info scratched on the concrete walls around graves, and other places not just on store bought markers or even home made markers.
In a few cases it is difficult to interpert what the person was intending to write, because it doesn't seem to make sense, or can be interpreted either as birth or death date.
Small photo or not, I appreciate you and your sister trying.

|Sharen A. Durler-Pflughoeft||RE: Smith's in Lowell KS Cem|
Dear Southernatheart....how wonderful to receive your message....."Hi, Sharen. Good news! My sister & I visited the Lowell Cemetery yesterday, and found these markers for you. Sorry, we did not find four - these three are in a little sectioned-off area, and were the same size. I'm thinking they were probably children?:.....I see Lucy A Smith's close up and overview photo...so I'm sure that the other 2 must be possibly children of Bert (Albert) Smith and Addie L Moore....the ones I know of besides Ludy A Smith are Nellie Smith born about 1897 and died 10/21/1907, Gracie born about 1891 and died before 1900, Sarah Elizabeth born 1/22/1904 and died 5/23/1904, Edith born about 1904 and died 5/23/1904...maybe more, which I was hoping the grave photo's would give me some idea. Would love to see what other 2 you have...maybe I can start to figure them out. "Levi" doesn't ring a bell...but then again, bells often don't ring early on in the search!!!
Interesting group photo....the 3 look like almost a border around a plot...which is probably what was supposed to be. It's been since Memorial Day 2006 when I was able to last visit Lowell Cemetery...so really appreciate the extra effort you and your sister took in trying to run these children down. Yes...please send me the photo's or let me know if I need to add someone to Find A Grave and also I'll know who I'm still looking for.
Again...many thanks and appreciation. Sharen
