I am glad to share any information about the memorials that I manage. I have personal knowledge of them and welcome questions and correspondence.|
My intent is to share family history (not just mine) so that it's not forgotten. Often I will ask for a transfer, add information and links and then transfer it back. I love it when bio's and obit's are included and families are linked!
I LOVE my old photos of relatives. I share them freely to help keep their memory alive for future generations. If you use any of my family photos, acknowledging the source isn't necessary, but it would be appreciated and keeps us all in touch.
I love the Find-A-Grave community! Thank you to the folks out there who are responsible managers and take good care of their memorials with pleasure. A big thank you to the folks who accidentally make a duplicate and correct it when brought to their attention.
Not sure how the recent purchase of Find A Grave by Ancestry.com will affect us. Hopefully not at all since our time and effort are a free resource for them.

|Barbara Walton||Ada Louise Dunn Moore|
Jen, I wanted you to know that I found the headstone for the husband of Ada Moore. To the left of James Moore's headstone was a double headstone for Lynch & Ada Dunn, parents of Ada Dunn Moore. Between these headstones was a small square stone with the letter "W". Perhaps this marks the location for Ada's ashes??? I've made a photo and will upload to Ada's memorial page, but if this is not what you're looking for let me know and I will delete it.

You are very welcome for the photos. Thank YOU for visiting the memorials of my immediate family, and for your kind personal remarks to me. The typo in my father's memorial has been corrected..., thanks for that as well :-)

|Richard Armstrong||Message sent re; "Bill" Armstrong|
It has Bill on the grave stone and it should be Kenneth Lilburn Armstrong which is his christian given name "Bill" was a nick name given at a young age "Billy" shortened to "Bill" as he grew older. I am his son and also the family historian. I am presently working on his WWII war record. I have gained the names of the 2 ships he served on and battle histories for them. I am also attempting to get his medals and DD214. I have a picture of his father and my father and mother together taken in 1943 or 45. I may have the stone updated to add his full name and my mothers which is Betty Jean (Adams)Armstrong.
