To keep weeds out of the beautiful Find A Grave garden....
First, I don't link to Unknown Burial Site Memorials as Unknown Burial Sites shouldn't be on FAG according to the guidelines of the website. The first criteria for making a memorial on FAG is having the burial site, as this is a grave registration site.
Second, I may or may not transfer outside of the guidelines to an established member. It is my choice. Long-time hard working-members, who are busy in surveying cemeteries and taking grave photos impress me more than someone who is collecting others' memorials for their personal goal or waiting for someone to find the burial sites for their numerous memorials made with an "unknown burial site".
Lastly, there are no duplicated memorials on FAG. If I find a duplicated memorial while researching this site, there is 99% chance that it will be deleted or merged eventually.
You may disagree with the guidelines but remember the guy who started Find A Grave wrote them. He is the boss.
Also, thank you for all the flowers and tokens left on my family's memorial. They are all sincerely appreciated by me and my family.

Thanks a bunch.
|Tiffany Mims||RE: Thanks for the photo|
You are most welcome!
First you apparently got upset that I refused to change my memorial. Second, it is my memorial and I can add any name I choose. There are some people in this life that always identified themselves as Mrs. Whomever, and when I know they have done this, I always honor their wishes and place it on the memorial.
It is all about them and has nothing to do with us.

Thank you for letting me know I made a duplicate Memorial. Mine has been deleted.

I was unaware she had left Find A Grave. I'm guessing she had done all she could and had enough of it all. I will reread the information on Find A Grave.

Thank you my friend, have a wonderful day.
Hello Mrs. Linda,
I also sent a request for Find A Grave to transfer the merged memorials of my great-grandparents at least. I have been trying to reduce the number of duplicates I have. It is easy to get in the habit of creating them; it is better to go thru Find A Grave before such actions get started and carried away. Thanks for being alert and reporting it to me or Find A Grave. Sincerely, Joseph

Hello Mrs. Linda,
I have submitted the request to Find A Grave to merge Wiregrass Irisheyes memorials to my sponsored duplicate memorials. Wiregrass Irisheyes was one the one that told me I could created duplicate memorials of my ancestors. She would transfer my grandmother's parents or grandparents to me, but she told me it would be alright to created duplicate memorials of her original memorials. I know Find A Grave will fix this. Thanks for your concern.

Thank you for your correction, didn't catch it. I did enter the photo from the cemetery to that early entry and you might want to add the info I found on the stone of "Auntie" Eva M Baker 1873-1967, if you were the person that entered it. If not, please let that person know, so we can have the full information. Thanx
