Bio Photo ~ I am so glad I found Find A Grave! ~ I was born a Coots in Pineville(Bell County)KY, and am married to a Tankersley from Crab Orchard, KY.
I want to thank you all personally for leaving flower memorials for my Mom & Dad and all the others, too. It gives me comfort to visit all the ones who have passed from this life and are waiting on the other side. Have a beautiful day in JESUS today and everyday! I also want to thank DC for sponsoing my Mom and Dad.
If I don't make it to your memorials each day, I apologize. As time is not on our side. Please forgive me! But I visit as many as I can when I can. I love my many friends here on Find A Grave. God bless each and every one of you, And thank each of you for visiting my page when I am not able to do so. God bless, Darlene~

One of my favorite sayings is:
Hope for the best,
Accept the worst,
And take whatever comes.

~*~THERE ARE NO STRANGERS,
ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T MET~*~

Psalm 40:11
Withold not thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy loving kindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

Psalm 40:16
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

"Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back" ~John Ruskin~

My sweet and loving Dad:
Elbert Coots
My precious loving Mom:
Roberta Coots

This song was a favorite of my mom's just before she passed away and I think she knew she was going to pass away:

I'll Be Waiting For You

When I face my last trial and take my last stand
When I finish my course here below
If the path that I'm traveling should lead to death's door
There is one thing I'd like you to know

(chorus)
I'll be waiting for you over yonder
I'll keep searching 'til you make it in
It will not be complete until you're there
with me
I'll be waiting 'til you reach that land

It was God's will that brought us together
in life
And gave us a great family
I'd like to view heaven's beauty with you by
my side
I'll be waiting 'til your face I see

(chorus)
I'll be waiting for you over yonder
I'll keep searching 'til you make it in
It will not be complete until you're there
with me
I'll be waiting 'til you reach that land

My newest poem!

My Dear Parents

Dearest mom, dearest dad,
I'm so overwhelmed with sad.
No more phone calls like before,
No more your shadows to grace my door.

So many days I feel you near,
I look around and you're not there.
A lonesome feeling it is for me,
For your faces no more do I see.

I have your pictures to gaze upon,
To remember the days that are long gone.
Such a sadness I feel within my heart,
Since the time back when you both had to part.

But each day brings us closer to when,
We all shall see each other again.
A glorius reunion it shall be,
To be together again for eternity.

A Hug From Heaven

When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh,
It's a hug sent from heaven
From a loved up on high.

If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose,
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.

If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love,
It's a hug sent from heaven
From someone special up above.

If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird's chirping song,
It's music sent from heaven
To cheer you all day long.

If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon your face,
It's a hug sent from heaven
Trimmed with angel lace.

So keep the joy in your heart
If you're lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are sent from heaven
A broken heart will mend.

Your Magnificent Soul
True poets find rare magic and meaning as well as soulful expression in choice words. And your wonderfully endearing gift has the power of all these qualities. But to me, your friend and brother, some of the most magical words of all are ... 'Carolyn' and 'Darlene'.

I have taken great solace at your marvelous, deeply touching praises of my parents and modest self and will remember you forever!

Timothy.

A Truly Very Important Person
Dear Darlene!

You are one of the kindest and therefore most precious people in the world! I appreciated your caring birthday wishes as well as the marvelous attention to my parent's memorials tremendously!

Easter this year was the coldest in 50 years in Great Britain (up to 16 feet of snow fell in Scotland) and of course now the last of my family has gone I did not celebrate it.

I hope the best sister and friend any one could possess has very many deservedly happy moments with the warmer joy of lasting contentment ...

May God bless you!

Timothy.

Thank you
Thank you Darlene from the bottom of my heart for visiting all my memorials. Each and every one of my memorials are precious to me especially my son. Not only do you take hours looking for my family's history and re-do old pictures but your visits are precious to me. I wish I can do more for you.

Have a Great Night. It's suppose to be Spring but Winter refuses to leave us and we're getting snow flurries again!!

Love & Hugs

I had Feb 18th tucked in my mind to token your precious Dad on his Angel Day. And I still missed it. I just tokened him today. I'm so sorry!! I have so much on my mind these days and nothing stays in my head for long. March is approaching and that month is a disaster to my family. I have so many deaths and birthdays in March I had to put the list on my daughter's home page. I don't have the room. I got your e-mail but haven't had time to fully let it sink in.

Hoping you are well these days and your family. I love your bio picture.

I found more pictures
I'm finally after 4 long years after mom's death to be able to sit down and sort through boxes and boxes of my parents stuff. I found 2 more rare pictures of my dad's side of them as little kids. I have the new pictures on Andrew, Albert, Janie and Ray's memorials. I also found out from my dad's birth cert. that Andrew was a farmer. Listed his occupation as farming. I don't know why it has his age listed as 55 where he was clearly 59 when my dad was born. Andrew was born in 1858 and its on his stone. In 1917, he would be 59 in Oct 1917 when dad was born. Andrew was born Aug 1858. They have Janie as 20 which is right. I found another rare picture of my mom's side too. I had 4 complaints about Albert (throught the edit tab) to remove him since he is a burial unknown. So I just put down creamation. I've been calling everywhere in Va and nobody has no info on him. There is one place I thought he would be....Winchester National Cemetery which holds the veterans but they haven't taken in any new interments since 1969 so that is out.

How have you been these days?

Happy New Year Darlene.

I want to thank you for all your help to me this past year. You are a God sent present for dad's family. I never knew where they were buried even though I knew it had to be Virginia. but having no contact with any of them since the mid 1960's, it hard to keep track of family. My dad only once went back to Virginia to bury his mom in 1981. Other than that, nobody stayed in touch.

A Grateful Acknowledgement
My very dear friend, Carolyn!

Truly, I thank you so very much for touchingly showing respect and interest in my parents' memorials by visiting them and leaving deeply thoughtful and inspiring words. They were good people in this life, similar to your dear parents, and their spirits deserve this and bless your kindness and friendship as I do!

Most people wish optimistically for a better future in the coming New Year but so often this is not to be. Whether fate is good or bad to us let us make the very best of the present and be grateful for our precious friends at Find A Grave.

God bless you, dear Carolyn, and your family always!

PS. From your recent photos your parents and you were as attractive as your beautiful hearts!
