Bio and Links
Bio Photo Eldest daughter of Robert Donald Herbine and Marjorie Ellen Dodd Herbine. I am the family tree maker for my branch of the family. Researching family lines: Herbine, Dodd, Bates, Dingee, Faust, Eyer, Hileman. ( to name a few) Work as a nurse in a major theme park and have 2 wonderful dogs. Would love to hear from cousins.
I have also taken over the virtual care of Jerseytown Cemetery in Columbia County PA. I am also working on entering memorials for Pine Grove Market and Roselawn Cemeteries in Berwick, Columbia County. Please stop by and if you find a relitive and have corrections or additions for the bio please let me know. Please feel free to add flowers or pictures of your family as it makes the memorial more real.
I have one virtual cemetery of the vets in my family. I am proud of the military heritage scattered throughout my family in my direct and indirect lines. When you add them all up every military conflict in our nations history except the most recent gulf war has a represenitive from my family.

Thank you for all of the work you do with the cemeteries. Both of my mothers parents were from Columbia County so there are many relatives/ancestors in the area cemeteries.

RE: A.D. St Clair in Strawberry Ridge
I'm on Ancestry and I just sent you a msg from there. I'm not sure how all these sites work together even though they're all owned by Ancestry.

Frank St Clair
Well son-of-a-gun. I DO have Frank in my tree. It was the "H. B." that threw me off. I'm not sure why the initials are in the cemetery record, but Frank was the son of Hiram B. St Clair. (Hello distant cousin! LOL Frank is my 2nd cousin 3x removed.)

I have Clara in my tree also as his wife, but I never had a maiden name for her. They had at least one child, Earl who may have worked on the Panama Canal. They may have had a daughter, Martha as well. I'm still checking. Any other questions, please feel free to ask!

I don't have H. B. Frank St Clair in my tree, but that doesn't mean he doesn't belong there. A very interesting find. I'll see what I can find out about him.

Oh, I know. Any sort of genealogy work can be tremendously confusing. Listen, I don't know how many burials you manage in Strawberry Ridge, but if you want to transfer any of the following surnames over to me, I'd be happy to have them:
St Clair

Yes, I know that's a lot of names, but they're all part of my dad's "tribe" and there are probably more.
Funny story:
My dad was the third of 7 brothers. He was about 12 when the family left Montour moved to upstate New York. He once told me that while in PA, everyone he knew in the area was somehow related to him. In retrospect, it was probably a good move since his was the fifth generation to be born and brought up in Montour County. Time to inject some fresh blood into the gene pool! ;)

Hmm.... I'm getting a little confused myself. William Terner St Clair was buried in Strawberry Ridge. Memorial # 32079304
He is the son of A D and Rosanna St Clair. Terner was Rosanna's maiden name. (Please note "Terner" spelling. That was the second Americanized version of the German name "Toerner". Other versions include Tanner and Turner.)

Can you send me the memorial # of the William Turner St Clair buried in Pine Grove? I can't seem to find him, and there are several Pine Grove cemeteries in PA.

RE: A.D. St Clair in Strawberry Ridge
You are in luck! "A.D." stands for Abraham Daniel and A.D. Senior's wife's name was Roseanna. They had several children, including Abraham Daniel, Junior. He was my great-grandfather.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Happy New Year!

Harry Stackhouse
Hello Sue, I just have a question about a photo of the Headstone for Harry Stackhouse. The Year of Birth on Find-a-grave and on the Death record attached to his Memorial says 1861 but the photo to me looks like it says Birth 1831. Can you clarify for me ? :)

Thank you so much
