Hometown is Sanford, Florida. My husband and I were in High School together, "High School Sweethearts". We were married on June 29th, 1962 in Sanford. One of the things I love to do is roam old cemeteries and take pictures, and Jim thought I was odd in that respect. Now I know there's a name for people like that...Taphophiles.I have reaped so many benefits from this site, and never knew it existed until a sweet lady in Sanford called to tell me Jim was on here. Thank you Susan Marie! Thank you everyone for all the visits to Jim, it has been a blessing to me!!

 | RE: Hi Pixie, Hello, Sweet Glenda....We are fine, storms were around us yesterday evening, but nothing real bad, Wichita is 50 miles SW of us, and was hit in some areas but thankfully no life was lost, we live in Harper County Kansas. Moore Oklahoma was hit by a EF5 this afternoon...it is horrible, they said this tornado was worse than the one that hit Joplin, Missouri, it was a half mile wider. I just can't imagine how awful this would be, the people that lived are in total shock, no idea the death toll. Moore is a suburb of Oklahoma City, we are 75 miles west of Oklahoma City. Thank You sweetie for thinking of us. Doug and I have been busy all afternoon doing yard work, came in turned on the television and saw where Moore was pretty well wiped off the map. Tears and prayers for loss of human life and so many animals were killed too. Mary Wise lives down that way, and several on Find A Grave...I'm worried that they could be hurt.

 | RE: Love it, Thank you, sweet lady, for the nice compliment on my bio picture! I had one up before that "the bee-zee-bodee's" didn't like on my bio. You'd think they'd have better things to do than rat on innocent members, huh? (Just bored, I guess.) Hope your house is coming along good. I'm sure it's lots of work!! You have a great week!! Don't work too hard!! Thanks again!! (((Hugs))), Linda | | | Rosie♥Mooch

 | RE: Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder, Glenda....YOU'RE SO SWEET!!!!!! Thank You for your thoughtful message. Lookin' back, twenty years has sure gone by fast, Doug and I dated seven years, sure was scary to pull up roots from the only life I had known in Arkansas, and move to the Kansas prairie...turns out, it was the right choice! The "best" years of my life was growing up at home, and the years with Doug....the time in between, I don't really remember! :o)
I know you are so very busy with your home remodeling and grandson too....wow, taking care of cattle is easy, wanta move to the prairie???
How very "blessed" I am to have you as a friend, I truly mean that with all my heart!
Have a Wonderful weekend Sending Love and Hugs, Always xxxxxxxxoooooooo Pixie

 | Dear Glenda, It is snowing here in Minnesota. It has been snowing for 3 days. Florida was so brown I am glad your getting some rain. It is shocking because even Minnesota has seasons. We have Robins hop-ing around with confused looks on their beaks. My furnace is running full out today. Burrrrr.... L, DianeAdded by Diane ღ on May 03, 2013 8:27 AM | | | Monika♥

 | RE: Hi sweet Pixie, Dearest Glenda....it is always truly an honor to visit your precious Memorial's! Please know we appreciate your visits to our Memorial's so much too.
Bless your heart, I don't know how you do all that work, I would have things in a real mess if I tried remodeling...you are a very special gal!!
Doug and I went to the Farm Show in Oklahoma City yesterday...the weather was sunny and very pleasent, we always enjoy going to the Stockyards while we are there, having lunch at the Cattlemen's Steakhouse, the Stockyards is a great place to shop for anything Western. We use to spend the night...guess we're gettin' old, we like being home every night if possible. After we got home last night, around 9:00pm we heard a loud truck going down the dirt road just east of our cattle pens to the place our friends farm, no one lives there but there is a big barn, he has cattle and all kinds of farm equipment. I guess Doug and I were both a little uneasy about it...it's on a dead-end road, no one should even be down there...but now and then someone will get on the wrong road, we can see most everything but where the barn sits, we watched the truck turn up the driveway, he act like he knew where he was going....turns out whoever it was stole their 4-Wheeler, six batteries, gas out of all their farm vehicles...didn't bother their tractor, I can see the tractor clearly from my kitchen window, we were just heart sick about it...we could tell it was an older truck and very loud. If this happens again we will call Reed, make sure it isn't him and go check things out ourselves...with a gun in the middle of the seat!!!
Have a Wonderful weekend Sending Love & Hugs from the Kansas prairie Pixie
