Thanks, Bob, so much for the quick response to my photo requests! I am in Illinois and so glad to be able to see the markers for these folks in California. They were part of a large family here (Alanson was one of 13 siblings)that I have been researching and also have some family connections to. Seeing the markers helps confirm the information I have found. Thanks again for your efforts and quick response.

Thank you Bob! So very much for the photographs and making the memorial for Julia Cooley Altrocchi, his wife, I couldn't find an obituary, but was quite sure she would be buried there with him. Appreciate your very kind hospitality extended to me.

RE: Daniel Benson Replogle etal
Thanks for the info. Sorry I put you to so much trouble!! I dug out the old info on this and have a deed to the niche, a paid invoice, and even a letter stating that Carl Sr was inurned along with his wife Lillian around Jan 15, 1964. Carl Jr wrote a letter to his siblings explaining that there was no room in the niche to place Mom) Lillian, so he proposed moving Carl (her husband d. 1952) and her into a new niche at Mtn View. He ended up purchasing a big niche that will hold a total of 8 for their children, or their grandchildren. AFAIK no one's taken this opportunity yet.

Aha! Very good question. I seem to remember reading an old letter that talked about moving remains from one crypt to another. It didn't make much sense to me at the time I read it, but now with more info, I will see if I can find it again and do some analysis. I think the letter is in my husband's "stuff"...I'll let you know what I find.

Thanks so much for the photo! It sure doesn't say much, does it? You mention in the caption that Rosa Belle and his son, Carl Silvius are buried in that niche as well. Actually, Carl is at another cemetery with his wife.
