If you click on the photo I added today, you will see this message: "BURIED IN LOT 4493--GRAVE IS UNMARKED." Whenever a grave is unmarked, I at least post a lot shot to show the area where the person is buried...sorry he has no marker.

Sorry, I am not related to the family.
I can post better burial marker photos, if you need them?

Which Brother is Pictured?
Thank you for your fine work at Find A Grave. You have added what appears to be a wedding picture of Jane Boyd Wells Woods at the link pasted below. In an heroic story all around Jane married two brothers: Norman, then after his tragic death, Henry Gonzalvo Woods who also died courageously. Do you know which brother is pictured in the photo you posted?

I'd really love to see a photo of this man and his wife, if his wife was a Find. My great-great grandmother Phillippina Find Schweke was the sister of Sophia and Margaret Find Voelkel, and we don't have any pictures of her. If you've already posted it, can you tell me where it is or email me at

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for posting the photo of Harry. I've been researching his family for years and it's always a treat to see their faces.

RE: Dorothy Laas

Frederick Laas did own the Union Hotel around the 1860's.

This relationship is exciting. I have never met anyone that has a link (other than a close cousin),to the McPherson's in my family.

I previously sent you the way it shows the relationship to me in ancestry.....Price Family Tree

My Great-G Grandparents were the McPherson's of So Carolina who then moved into the MS area with a group that left SC for better soil/religion and who knows what else.

Thanks for responding to me.
