RE: William Lewis and Abigail Lewis
Sorry, I thought you ment the tombstone pictures for them. Yes, thank you for the personal picture of them on their memorial site. Don't know if they had a tombstone picture in Genessee Prairie cemetery or not?

RE: Schoolcraft Cemetery
No, I did not "start" the Schoolcraft Township Cemetery. It was already listed (with no memorials) when I became aware of the problem that someone had caused, either out of ignorance or maliciousness. I merely moved my memorials to Schoolcraft Township (Schoolcraft) from Schoolcraft Township (Vicksburg) because the sign as Schoolcraft does read Schoolcraft Township Cemetery. Now there are three cemeteries listed when there should be only two. It seems to me that the logical thing to do is wait until the Find A Grave administrators fix this part of the problem by removing one of the listings. Then I will take whatever action is appropriate.

RE: Schoolcraft Cemetery
From the messages I received from you (transferring cemeteries), I assume that Find A Grave could not fix the merging mistake on the Schoolcraft/Vicksburg cemeteries?

I guess there is a place to work on the cemteries here on Find A Grave. I sent the same email to that I sent to Then I saw something about editing it here on the website itself. I'm not sure I'm up to providing all the information right now so I will look at it again later. How does one "unmerge" the cemeteries anyway?

RE: Schoolcraft
I'm glad you let me know! What a mess!! Everything is listed under Vicksburg! The map also shows Vicksburg!! I sent a message to edit@findagrave but I don't know if that was the correct way to let them know. Maybe you should send them a message too.

I think I know how it happened. I tried to explain to one of the photo requesters that the person they were requesting was not in the Vicksburg cemetery but rather in the Schoolcraft cemetery and already had a photo on his memorial. That person probably didn't understand what I meant and contacted Find A Grave about it.

I'm glad you contacted me because now I can find you again! Hopefully I can figure out how to list you as a friend! I am slow figuring out how to use some of the features here on Find A Grave!
