EDIT REQUESTS: Happy to make changes to family memorials IF a source (aka proof) is provided.
My southern ancestry is deeply rooted in Georgia and the Carolinas. According to DNA admixture estimates I am primarily of British, Irish, German and Scandinavian descent.
Surnames I'm currently researching are Blalock, Brown, Carlton, Cline, Dermid, Dover, Elliott, Fain, Gray, Hill, Hunnicutt, Jacobs, King, Little, Pope, Rhyne, Shores, Stroup, Sullivan, Verhine. (Note: Surnames currently researched in my husband's lineage are Baker, Coker, Crump, Davis, Dotson, Land, Morrison, Townsend, Wimpy/Wimpey, and Woody in Catoosa, Fannin, Floyd, Gilmer, Union and Whitfield counties in Georgia.)
Personal geographical research interests are Bartow, Cherokee, Carroll, DeKalb, Douglas, Gordon, Floyd, Habersham, Lumpkin, Pickens, Paulding, Polk, Union counties in Georgia. Cullman and Dekalb counties in Alabama, York County in North Carolina, and Cherokee County (Kings Creek) in South Carolina.
I'm a family history researcher not a cemetery surveyor. That said, I want to profusely extend thanks and appreciation to those contributors dedicated to documenting cemeteries and to the photographers who give graciously of their time and talent to provide information to further our research. From me to the photographers that have and will go out of his/her way to answer my request(s), many thanks.
The majority of my contributions are family. If you are a closer relation than I (or my husband) to any of the memorials I maintain and wish a transfer, click on the 'edit' tab of the memorial and send a transfer request including your contributor number and your relation. I like to collaborate and have far more photos and stories than you'll find on the memorials here.
